We had a great weather day, the course is in great shape. Fast greens, nice fairways, thick juicy rough. You have to pay attention to the ball, it is very easy to lose it in the lush rough ( I think this is the reason play was so slow, people spent a lot of time looking for their ball).

If you have not played this course yet, you should, if you have play it again you will not be disappointed.

Played with 3 friends and enjoyed a challenging round of golf on a nice course. Easy course to come back to several times, never boring.

Tucked away in ct, this course is in great shape and has a nice design and layout. We got a bit of rain mid way thru but still finished, pace of play was great for a saturday morning. Tho not much to offer inside proshop as far as food or snacks and range balls were worst ive seen in a long time, machine was broken and kept dirty balls in a bucket for all to scoop on their own. Also they told me golfnow lied about the price and tried to upcharge me from 55 to 69, but in the end i paid 55. I would probably go back because the course was great ti play, but as said dont expect much more.

Course was fun to play Some tough holes but overall fun place to play.

Fun course. Well maintained. Not much to complain about especially on a weekday when there was no waiting.

Given the forecast for rain, it wasn't as busy as it normally is, so we enjoyed a 4hr round.

The greens were still recovering from being aerated. other than that, the course was in great shape.

My only peeve was the lack of snacks / drinks available in the clubhouse, which I'm sure was due to a lack of traffic that day.

Besides the Green's being prepped for the season, the course was in great shape and challenging. Great place to play with great views. Looking forward to going back.

This is a course that has been greatly improved over the years and it shows! Challenging pin placements on the crests of undulating greens. Course is rounding into shape - in very good condition for the time of year given the hard winter and early spring cold.

I love this course. It’s well maintained and extremely fair but not too easy. The greens are currently aerated and not rolling at all like they normally would (fast) but in a few weeks this course will be 100 %

This is one of the best golf courses that I've ever played from GolfNow.com. The course condition was awesome. People were very friendly. They had a pitching green and a bunker area practice.

Course is in good shape for such an early play. Already beginning to turn green in some areas. I always have a great experience here but was upset that the course was cheaper to play by calling directly.

It cost me $3.00 more to go through Golf Now.

Anyone remember when GN was a way to save money? Now it cost more and results of searches sometimes don't even have the price offered that comes up on the search results. I have seen a serious decline in using the site. Call direct.

Played just after opening after the winter break. Course was in better condition then I expected. Nice layout, pure golf. No distractions. Look forward to playing when the courses is prime shape. Nice staff.

I really like this course as it is open enough so you don't get into trouble on most holes on a missed drive but there are bunkers and water on some holes that make it challenging enough.

Although I live in Connecticut, this was my first round of golf at this golf course. I encountered a traffic problem enroute to the course, and called the Pro Shop to inform them that I would not make my tee time. I did finally arrive 45 minutes late, and was greeted by Ted in the Pro Shop. He gave us a quick overview, and we started our round. There were only a few golfers on the course, and were pleasantly surprised that the course was in nice condition for December. The course design providd a good variety of holes. Both the fairways and greens were in excellent shape. I avoided the bunkers but noticed that they were not well maintained this time of the year. Stoney and suffering from some water erosion. I still enjoyed playing the course. My wife and I played 18 holes in 2 hours and 51 minutes. I would recommend playing here to above average golfers. You need to able to put your drives in play, and target your shots. Although the 19th hole was closed, it looked loke a nice place to enjoy a quick lunch and refreshment. The carts were in fair operating condition, and cleaned upon completion of our round. It was worth the one hour drive and another hour stuck in traffic. I am looking forward to playing another round here in the Spring.

it was a bit chilly on Monday but the course was in excellent shape . I had difficulty finding distance markers and after the round I learned there were side distance markers for 125, 175, and 225 i believe. This would have been helpful to know and next time i will ask. Staff was most accommodating and the course although a bit remote is well worth the drive
