River Pointe Golf Club

I play this course at least once a week, great staff, fun course to play, and it’s in great shape for the price. There are some challenging holes and some short holes you’ll love to play. It keeps me coming back.

Course was in great shape. Fairways were full and plush greens were almost in perfect shape with very little and I mean very little spots to putt over and around. Would definitely recommend this course to anyone wanting an experience on a very good course to play that is reasonable in price.

Love the course but the last few months have been terrible. The last 5 times I have played here the pace of play has been terrible. 4 of the 5 times I have played we (2 of us) have gotten behind a group of 5 and not one time have we been asked to play through. Took us 2 hours and 15 minutes to play the front nine this week. If something isn't done soon I'll find another course to frequent.

Love the course but it can play tough if you're not on you're game.

Great lay out with adequate challenges.

Played behind a scramble, so pace of play was slow. The fairways were in good shape the ruff was dormant and the ball settled down. The greens were surprisingly fast (I estimate 14 above the hole and 12.5 below the hole) and hard do to the weather. THe course requires placement shots off the tees of less than driver. Precise second shots to undulated greens that are firm and fast. Enjoyable.

Course is always in great shape, speed play is on target most of the time

I've played many courses in different states in my life and River Pointe remains as one of my favorite layouts. It's a short course that demands precision off the tee, especially on the back 9. You will find many tee shots where 2 feet can be the difference in a good chance for birdie and struggling to make double. The greens are far from being the best in town but the course design and overall experience are second to none in the area.

River Pointe is a beautiful, challenging, incredible course that is in excellent shape!

The course was in great shape, but the best part was the people. The Bowles were friendly and so accommodating. I will definitely return!

This course is a challenge with all the water and hazards. I really enjoy playing this course!!

Wonderful course in excellent condition. As good or better condition than my private club in Florida for a faction of the cost. Wanders through wetlands and forests along the Flint River houses never intrude on the golf. Excellent shot values, challenging driving holes, interesting green complexes. Would be a bear if the greens were a little faster. Tons of fun to play! Will be back on my next trip to Albany.

Course is in great condition -- only 1 green needed attention. Friendly staff, cheap beverages. Pretty much empty on weekday afternoons.

This is a pretty cool little golf course. Pretty easy from the white tee's if and only if you plan your shots. I like a course that makes you place your tee shots without being so difficult it takes the fun out of it. I imagine this course is pretty tough from the tips. You can't get too far off the fairway or your done. Underlating greens are fun to putt. They were a little slow but, putted ok. They had just been verticut. Looks like they trying to get this course in shape fairways were great . The staff was great very friendly and accomadating. I really had fun playing this course . I would like to come back and play from the Blue tee's . It is a short course from the white tee's .you can however get in trouble off the tee from the white if you pull your driver out. I would recommend this course to anyone of any skill level .depending on the tee's you play it will test your shot making without testing your patience. Great value.
