Great 9 holes
Very enjoyable, not the quickest 18, but it only took 3.5 hours to do for 2. Layout was pretty cool, some challenging holes and some risk/reward holes. Good buckets protecting some greens and others by elevation alone are pretty touchy. Large greens, not that they’re easy to hit, and they are true, just tough to read. Deceptive lines and good people! Thanks!

Challenging at a bargain
Very challenging course that has it all...water hazards, sand traps and challenging holes! For a nine hole course it provides a sensible layout that is very challenging, but at the same time, fun!!!
My Kind of Golf
I do not know that the combination Pineknoll offers can be beat, and I know it can’t be for the price. You get as friendly a clubhouse host as you will find, great hot deal rates where you will still be treated like a VIP guest, and a course that provides plenty of challenge and very good conditions. Where else will you get an offer from a clubhouse worker to deliver drinks and snacks on the course when and where you want them? (Yes, the course was not very busy).Today we got an offer of a BBQ sandwich and paid $2 for it. Delicious! Do not come here looking for lots of frills, but there is enough here to make me want to come back every time I am in the area.
Course Closed
Took tee time at 0930 however told me at course they would decide if people could play at 1030.... waste of time.
Great For Practice
Greens were dry but pretty nice.... fairways were below avg and needed some care..... sand traps were terrible and grown over with grass and weeds.... the course itself has a great layout and wide fairways.... a great place to practice your game!
Fairways were not mowed,sandtraps not took care of,and the Green's were smooth but rock hard!!!!
