East at White Pines Golf Course
About
White Pines Golf Club is ideally situated for both locals and visitors with a convenient location that is just 30 minutes from downtown Chicago and only 10 minutes from O'Hare International Airport. The club has two 18-hole courses, the East and the West. The East is the shorter and more player friendly of the two at 6,371 yards from the back tees. The fairways are seemingly narrow but there is some room for recovery if you have an errant shot. There aren't as many bunkers or water as on the West Course, but there is enough to provide a fun round. In addition to 36 holes of golf, White Pines G.C. also offers the Golf Dome, one of the world's largest indoor golf facilities. It features five target greens surrounded by bunkers, 50 hitting tees on two levels, and six suspended hitting targets for practicing your accuracy.

Huge sand traps, but fair. Nice layout.
East course cart path from #8 to #9 needs signage!! We played #2 twice before we realized it. Others too!
Good Course - Played the West Course
The course is well kept and the pace very good. There are water and bunkers to challenge most players. The fairways are a little narrow and lined by trees.
West Course at White Pines
This was the second time playing the West Course at White Pines which was very green in color and in excellent shape. Very close to O'Hare Airport for an opportunity to play while on the road for business and take the plane home after the round. O'Hare is 14 minutes away. Staff was friendly and very accommodating to all that played. The East Course at White Pines is a little more challenging, but both courses are enjoyable to either walk or ride. GPS system on the golf carts.
Great value
$35 for 18 holes walking. Well maintained. Greens in great shape. Finished in less than four hours. Much prefer the West course to the east, but both are very playable.
golfer Pete
this is a very difficult time playing because of the group in front of us. They was 3 older ladies playing in front of us and the the problem was pace of play . We waited 10 - 12 minutes every shot . Sorry will not come back
Great Facility
Love White Pines. Definitely would recommend the West course over the East. The east is tight and short but does get challenging on the back 9. Only (3) par 5’s not a big course. West side provides more distance and more challenges. But for the location it’s phenomenal. If you go early driving range probably not going to be open yet. Good value course was in great shape. The greens were superb ideal for putting.
Enjoyable, Fall Course
I’ve played the west course before but this was my first time playing the east course. While fairly short, this course was entertaining and would play well in the fall. Great mix of water, sand, trees and dog legs to keep you on your toes hole by hole. The fairways and rough were very well manicured. The back 9
plays much tougher and tighter than the front but both are enjoyable. The sand traps were not in great condition and my cart’s GPS didn’t work but that’s about all the negative I have for this one.
Slow play and course not taken care of.
It was a cheap round of golf. I guess you get what you pay for.
Best kept secret in Bensenville!
We drove in from Evanston IL, and my first time here and my husband played here maybe 15 years ago. The course was in phienomenal shape, the greens were very receptive and the sand traps were very playable. The grounds were beautiful and the proshop staff and rangers were vwery friendly and helpful! The girl who was working the bar area was her first day and her name is Malia! She is a beautiful soul and a nice addition to the club bar/restaurant area! Thank you White Pines, and we will be back! oh, shot my best round in two years and 5 surgeries...92! :>)
