Great Course
I love this course , the layout and condition of the course was great. I didn't have any issues with the personnel they were all pleasant and helpful. I have played this course about 7 -10 times a year for many years even before they developed the lots around the course and really enjoy the facility throughout all the changes.
Awesome course
Played right after a large outing in the evening . Course and greens were still in great condition. Very challenging course and a fun layout. Highly recommended
Very enjoyable round
Had a great time playing today. I was the first one out and played by myself. Got my round in and great way to start the day. Will be back to play this course again

SLOW PLAY DUE TO COURSE'S BAD DECISION
The round was marred by extremely slow play because management allowed one or two groups of 6 or 8 playing scramble while selling tee times 8 minutes apart. Very disappointing . Additionally greens were in terrible condition. Beyond the remnants of aeration, they appeared to have been damaged by heavy play and no rolling or maintenance repairs. Such a disappointment to see this lovely course reduced to looking like an overplayed muni.

With an uncharacteristically full day, we work hard to accommodate everyone who visits our course and allow our guest the chance to complete their rounds. With that in mind, we are working to best control pace and allow everyone to finish in a reasonable amount of time. We will continue to look for ways to improve. One of my favorites!
I live in the city but Foxford and Chalet Hills are two of my favorite courses in Chicago. Chalet is a tough and unforgiving course but the layout and elevation changes make it unique. It probably has the biggest elevation changes in the area. It has 5-6 of the most picturesque and difficult holds in the area. On course conditions can vary and the greens can be a little rough at times, but the layout with the wooded backdrop makes this course an absolute gem.

Highway Robbery
The course was open to play the back 9 only without prior notice to golfers who pre booked a full round of golf. They just posted a notice at the main entrance and by that time it’s too late to cancel having driven an hour to get to the golf course. Front desk guy acted as if you are a nuisance to him as you enter the pro shop without even acknowledging your presence after giving him a warm greeting. The pro shop reeks and with foul smell and the restroom smells even worse. Had the chance to drive the cart through the front 9 when a golfing buddy leaving early needed a ride back to the parking lot and found no reason why the area has to be closed for play as all the fairways and greens at the front 9 looked immaculate without any activity of repair going on. Despite only half the course is available for play they accepted full bookings like as if the whole course is open creating too many golfers waiting at each tee box and rangers made round late in the day urging players to play faster like it was the customers fault for the slow pace. Just a terrible experience paying the full price to play half the course 2x. Not playing this course again despite the great condition of the golf course.

Good tough course
Great challenge of good shot makers course for sure if you miss your in trouble. Only complaint is greens suck let them grow a otter bit or get someone to fix the marks ball was bouncing all over the place hard to make puts when that is happening
