Amazing course for the value. The layout was fantastic and the course challenging and humbling. Definitely will return.

One and only frustration was watering of many greens ahead of us. We went out early, 6:30am tee time. Conditions have been extremely dry and I understand the need to water. However, there were about half a dozen holes where we had to wait to hit into the green so the grounds crew could turn the sprinklers off. Those Greens were extremely wet and left in no condition to be able to put on.

That said—-the course is amazing. Will definitely return many times. Will make you a better golfer for sure.

During Covid, rakes are removed from the bunkers. It was a wonderful addition to have one of the maintenance crew driving around raking the bunkers...have not seen any course this summer provide that amenity. We are also in a bad drought...nice to see some moist tee boxes and fairways from earlier watering of the course.

Our round of 18 holes was 5 1/2 hours. Difficult course, narrow fairways, Pro-shop wasn't very friendly, ranger said "this is a 4 1/2 hour course". Too difficult for avg players.

Nice layout. Could water less and spend the money saved on improving the condition of the greens. 75% of the greens were dried out and seemed diseased. Played slow and never saw a course ranger.

Played early morning and the course was super wet. Puddles around all sprinkler heads or low spots in the course. Felt like I was playing during a rain storm. Slow playing, even early morning. I think due to some tight holes with blind shots over hills. Even in the fairway, not sure which hill you went over. Might benefit by switching to 10 minute tee times instead of 8 minutes.

I can only put the blame on management for the following:

They advertise driving range their isn’t, actually there is but it hasn’t been operational I heard for a long time

We get there 30 minutes early and Starter tells us he is 20 minutes behind !

2.5 hours to play the front Nine and ZERO rangers on the course to get players to keep pace.

Greens are super fast which is great, but they are beat up and the brainiac manager allows the Pin placements to be tucked on almost every hole when it’s Sunday Golf, why ?! It slows down the game !

Several holes have leaves fallen to hide balls instead of blowing them out of the way.

I’m a 10 handicap and enjoy challenging courses but after 12 holes and pushing 3.50 hours I called it a day !!

Cart girl showed up twice in my 12 holes.

Golf carts are loud and old with NO GPS.

Cart paths are in serious need of repair.

Their next door neighbor course Foxford is so much better ran and for same $$

Course has a tendency of being watered to much.greens are not taken care of.

Had to wait until my tee time to receive a cart, which was run by a 13 and 10 year old.

Second time I played here this year and another 5 hr round. Teed off 15 minutes late, and took 5 hrs. No starter or ranger, way too slow. No beer cart either, made absolutely no sense...left tons of revenue on table. Best part of day besides weather and company was woman behind bar. very friendly and helpful. Probably won't be back.

Great greens. Challenging layout. Definitely will use all of the clubs in your bag!

Greens were in poor condition. While I understand the virus situation I am having a hard time with how poor the bunker conditions. There were weeds, rocks and just an unwillingness to upkeep. Always love the challenge of Chalet, was underwhelmed this time.

Chalet Hills is a great course and even better value! Staff is fantastic and pace was great!

designed for a golfer who makes no mistakes.. a little left or right you are fishing for golfballs... either in the water or in the dense forest..
