A rewarding challenge!
Probably one of the tougher courses in central Illinois but the most rewarding. If you’d like to hit the ball left and right, you’ll love this place I think it’s in the best shape it’s ever been I’ve been playing here for over 20 years I would highly recommend it to anyone, the teas and greens in Fairway is were in superb shape. We played a little early so they hadn’t cut the greens yet so they were wet and slow but everything else was top notch. It’s well worth over an hour drive to come play there’s never anyone out there either. Rollinghills and tree line fairways on every hole.
Great course
Course is a challenging setup lots of dog legs in both directions, fairly large fairway but lots of trees if you miss the fairway. My only complaint is that the sand traps need work and from what I have heard they are planning on redoing them in the near future. Highly recommended. Only 36$ with a cart for 18.
Tough
Keep the ball in play because you’re not finding anything hit OB. Tough layout, some interesting tee locations.
Always Enjoyable
Always well maintained beautiful course. They had just aerated the course so the greens were sandy but overall still an enjoyable course to play.

quiet and seclusion
The greens were pretty smooth and running at a decent speed. Faster than they've been in years past. The course is tree-lined, with a lot of underbrush and some elevation changes. Really different for central Illinois. You better hit it straight, or bring a lot of golf balls. The front 9 is a couple shots easier. Some of the holes get crazy on the back. I enjoy the quiet and seclusion. Sometimes you see more deer than people. It's rustic and a bit run down, but I'm glad it's still there and open. Off the course, still just a trailer in a parking lot with a few drinks and snacks.
Great course to play
Fun course. Lots of turns & elevation changes. Looking forward to going back.
Scenic Course
Despite the rain we truely enjoyed this course. It is very scenic with lots of wildlife, hills and beautiful trees. There are several Tee boxes to choose from depending on your skill level. Someday maybe they will get a real clubhouse again? It was worth the 65 mile drive.
Eagle creek
Real fun course everything was in great shape except the sand traps, they appeared to have not been raked in months very hard compact sand.other than that the course is perfect.
Play this Course!
Course was in great shape, other than fairways had been cut to close and is in need of rain. Course overall in great shape! Pin placements were tough, which makes the back very challenging.
Great Layout
Eagle Creek is the most challenging track in central Illinois. Look past the occasional rough spot and you'll find all you can handle in challenge and shotmaking. Bring extra balls because a wayward shot will be eaten by any number of dangers.......and the views? Best around. Would be a $100+ course if the greens were a bit faster, but then putting would be an even more difficult experience. Awesome .....Awesome!!!

The course was in great shape especially considering how dry it's been. The greens were perfect.
