Good condition overall, sparse amenities
Weekend golf, no beverage cart before noon. Pro shop is bare, very little amenities. Course closed for a year coming out of Covid and is under new management but they look to still be building it back up. Course was in good shape overall, 4 hour pace of play. Well drained after recent rain and was a challenging but fair layout from the white tees. Price is on par or slightly better than a few courses close by like Tanna Farms and Orchard Valley.
Will play Mill again
It really has everything you need. Very challenging but very fair. I am old now so I take advantage of the forward tees and get to skip a lot of trouble. but there is still some out there. Play golf to enjoy golf. You'll play this course over and over again.
Work in progress
Mill creek seems to be a work in progress
club house looked to be under construction
Course is ok but needs work
Golf
This is a well laid out course with great greens. The fairways aren’t in the best of shape simply because most players aren’t replacing their divots. Club house is being renovated so nothing to write home about there. No beverage cart on course either. This course is for everyone who just wants to play some golf and that’s it.
Challenging layout at Mill Creek
Played Mill Creek for the first time in many years. The course was closed for several years and recently reopened with a revised layout. Course conditions could be improved but that did not affect our round significantly. Lots of blind shots with hazards lurking out of view. Need to play this course a few times to learn where to place your shots. In summary, we had a fun outing and will return soon.
Not So Good!
No water on the course on a hot Sunday
No beverage cart on a hot Sunday
Course all dried up
Overpriced for lack of any amenities
Should be closed
I’m not sure why they decided to open this course. It’s in the worst shape of a course I’ve played in years.
Just Okay - No amenties whatsoever
The greens at Mill Creek are a bit slow and sand papery. You have to force yourself to be aggressive with the short stick. Pretty much the same as last season - no amenities or food, bad beer selections and dirty carts. Scroll down and read my other reviews. Course layout is a lot of fun...just wish it was in better condition overall. I've played here at least 20 times. The cart paths are a bumpy joke. Pro tip - when you get in the cart always grab and hold your beverage otherwise it will spill all over you and the cart. Has a warm up range.....it was signed mats only and a bunch of people were hitting off the grass. No drinking water and no on course bathrooms - the bathroom after 14 was locked. 2.5 stars. On a decent Saturday afternoon we had the course to ourselves. I recommend the course but you have to manage your expectations.
Poor condition
This was my first time playing the course and found that the cart paths were an extremely poor repair and bumpy. The golf cart itself was backfiring, and there was quite a bit of dandelions and weeds all over the course. The tea boxes were torn up, and it was clear that over the years the course had not been kept up as promised by this community.
Getting Back in Shape
Course was in pretty decent condition compared to end of the season last year. Some tee boxes ripped to shreds but it seems to me they are maintaining the fairways and greens better than last season. No halfway house open yet
