the course is in great shape, tee to green..nice challenge..

Where to begin, when I arrived we walked promptly into the pro shop and we were greeted by a younger lad and an older woman whom seem completely disinterested in their jobs. One was berating an employee over the phone in which I can only assume was a power trip and the other needs to learn customer service skills.
The course could be a gem of metro Atlanta, instead this course is better suited for Jonesboro. The was trash everywhere, Gatorade bottles, beer cans, etc, all along the cart path. The cart path themselves haven’t been repaved since the mid 90s as about half the course we had to drive at a crawl to avoid hurting our backs or splashing ourselves in puddles. In some areas course management attempted to fill in these holes with gravel...but dare I say it made it 100% worse.
In addition to all of that, the pace of play was horrendous. No Marshalls anywhere to be found. There was a bottleneck after the turn of at least 6 groups, meaning we sat between holes for 20+ minutes before hitting our tee shot.
Just do yourself a favor and go elsewhere, even if you get an invitation for free golf from a friend.
