SummerGrove Golf Club

Weather has been rain so some areas of course a bit soggy. Overall an enjoyable round - staff was very friendly and the value was great - can't wait to play this summer when course greens up and dries out a bit !

I plan on returning great place to play a great atmosphere thanks for the courtesy

Course was well maintained. Starter did an excellent job at getting groups together and starting on time. Nice course for the money!

My first look at winter golf this year. Weather was good and we had a little rain the day before, but this course does not drain well.
Soupie fairways, traps sad, and still leaves everywhere.
Greens very good, tee Boxes good. Got tired of mud on clubs and ball every shot.
Also no one mentioned 18 green is temp.
All in all it was a good day of golf, but I guess I was looking for better.

Enjoyed Summer Grove today. The course is in pretty good shape, with the greens having good speed, despite being a tad "tall". Good Pro Shop, nice bar area, and plenty of parking. The young man at the desk was friendly and polite. Pace started good, until we jammed up behind two walkers. After several holes, we made the turn, and they still hadn't offered to let the faster singles and two-somes with carts play through. The two-some decided to skip a hole and were verbally accosted by the walkers. One of them was shrieking and slamming her driver onthe tee box, thought the head was going to pop off.. and the club, too.. As the two-some drove away, the walker's rage turned towards myself and the other single, who had sat quietly while it all took place. They stormed by us, screaming and cussing as they headed back to the Pro shop (to probably scream some more). Pace picked right back up after that, magically.. So i joined up with the other single and played the rest of the round with him. I really enjoyed the layout of the course. Several holes with good elevation changes, plenty of water hazards (creeks and lakes), and several dogleg par 4's that require placement instead of using the driver. I will definitely be back, and will tell others to go try it out, as well.

This is a. Dry good course for the money. Greens are in great shape but needs to be pressed. Understand greeens are coming out of aeration but if you cut the greens why not press them just don’t roll the same.

Cart path only after the last couple days of TS Delta rain. Greens were quite good. Couple holes very wet, so played a bit long. Rebuilt 18 green is not ready, temp green on 18 for now.

Love the course. However, the greens were a little disappointing today. Not the usual smooth fast greens. Should be back to normal in 2 weeks. Looks like they were aerated a week or so ago. A little shaggy in areas of the greens. Needed to be cut, but guessing they can't so close after aeration.

Have played SG a few times but this time the course was a little banged up. Members and guests need to be reminded to repair ball marks! On some greens it was ridiculous. Fairways were in fairly good shape. Overall a good layout just needs a little extra to be really good. Pace of play was very slow but it was a Sunday.
