Coweta Club at Arbor Springs Plantation

Course was absolutely destroyed in every aspect. Dirt/sand tee boxes hardly any grass in sight, decent fairways on a couple holes, “first cut” was just completely uncut and overgrown weeds, most bunkers are completely uncut playable, the few “greens” that weren’t covered in weeds had more sand than most of the bunkers did. Plenty of merchandise in the pro shop but very limited snack/food options. The absolute worst part of this course is the price, $50 for this goat track is ridiculous. I’m surprised they have a single member at this semi private location, do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time or money because you will be disappointed.

Poorly conditioned. Aerified greens (we knew in advance). Would think this would be sold off for housing development in the not too distant future.

We booked the 2:10 tee time on a Thursday. We pretty much had the course to ourselves. Course was nicely laid out, holes were challenging and staff was friendly! The greens aren’t awesome, but you can putt still. No grill for hot food, but snacks and drinks in the clubhouse. They also have water points every few holes, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely play here again.

This is one of two local public courses hear in Newnan, although it’s centered in a great neighborhood, the potential of this course is there as well as their amenities. Owner ship seems as though they have given up on maintaining the area, entrance is covered in high grass and weeds, club house has been in renovation for a while now with no real update. No kitchen, simple snacks at the shop. As for the course itself the fairways are not bad, it’s not an easy course, some fairways have dirt spots, some tee boxes are hard as a rock missing grass. Some of the greens are starting to develop a fungus, but seems like this is all management/maintenance that can be prevented. With some care and effort this course has the potential to be a great local course.

Can’t beat it for the price. Fairways are in great shape despite the lack of rain and greens are decent.

We payed for a deal price of 35 dollars and that wasn't cheap enough for how terrible this course was.

You enter through a well-kept neighborhood with beautiful homes and as you proceed through the course entrance, you enter a parallel universe. It starts with the parking lot. Has not mean maintained since maybe the Clinton administration was in charge. Overgrown landscaping and visually stomach turning. The clubhouse is decent but that is where it ends. On to the course. You need a compass and slide rule to locate the #1 tee box. That is when you witness he lack of course maintenance. Tee boxes resemble a wildlife area and they somewhat mow the fairways when you dodge the dirt areas. The area around the bunkers could hide a beachball in the overgrown weeds and bermuda grass and the bunkers themselves are like ground up asphalt. Greens were ok but divot repairs may not be encouraged. Then let's talk about the cart paths. Driving on the paths would make you feel like you were in an offroad 4x4 competition. Maybe the Air Force did a few bomb runs for practice on the concrete paths. If you happen to miss the fairway just by a few feet, call Dora the Explorer and Indiana Jones to help find your ball. Not worth the $54 to play this goat track. I would rather play Uncle Scooter's Pasture Golf than to go back to this abomination. If they offer free rounds to the public, I would ask for a refund. The only pleasant experience was the abundance of deer and the family selling burgers and smoked sausages at the pavilion. You can buy a nicer course from TEMU.

Sadly I’m writing this as an honest reminder to others. The tee boxes are mostly sand, and in need of repair. Lost of dirt patches in fairways. The cart path rivals most atv trails in the area. Lay out is great, the first hole is very inviting. But soon you realize you’ve made an error. Carts are in rough a shape too. If it was cheaper it wouldn’t hurt so much lol.

It was a night and day improvement from the last time I was there. Greens were as close to perfect as I have ever seen them. The fairways were not perfect but considering the improvement they have made on their greens, I can let that slide. It is a great layout and a fun tract. The greens made up for imperfections in the fairways and tee boxes. I had swore that I wouldnt go back. But I am glad that I gave them another chance. Well worth what I paid with the hot deal and golf pass price.

Excellent course for the money, in better shape that many much higher priced courses in the area. Great staff too!

Fairways were good. Bunkers could use some love (sand was decent, but the grass needed trimming). Greens were excellent. I will definitely play again.... and maybe score better having an idea of how to play the course.

They are a bit slow right now, but looking great and playing solid. Fairways are 70% there and should improve with some rain hopefully over the next few weeks. The biggest issue is the tee boxes are hard as a rock and hardly any grass. They need some specific TLC!!! Value is through the roof right now.
