Glendale Lakes
Course was in good shape. Most courses aerate 5his time of year, but not Glendale, so no issues with that. Disappointing they had no food service at the turn. Course was busy enough, but apparently didnt merit offering food or bar service. No vending either. Glad we brought water.

This golf course is very nice. There are a lot of water
Nice and Empty
Pretty sure we were the last players to go through that day which made for a nice and relaxing round. While the course is in a largely residential area, it's got some great views from the tees. Speaking of, some of the tee boxes were pretty worn down but that's to be expected by this time of the year. Overall, had a good time. Would have been nice to see some sort of snack kiosk or something similar at the halfway point but that didn't really ruin the experience. Just make sure to pack a granola bar or something similar if you're planning to play and are worried about going hungry. Worth the price we paid.
A very nice course that tests your game
First time playing this course. So, had to understand where the trouble was on many holes. And there is a fair amount of trouble - water, narrow fairways, etc. It really pays to be straight on this course - erratic and long means you need lots of balls. The course conditions were great, the greens were fantastic and rolled very nicely and the staff was very friendly. The starter, in particular, was very nice offering some tips on course management and driving around to check pace of play (which was excellent on a weekday afternoon). The only improvement I can think of is that it was a very hot and humid day but there was no drinks cart around. And I think I saw only one water source on the course, on the back nine. I could have used some water - as a senior pushing 80, I was parched by the time I got through. But, it WAS a weekday and maybe they provide this only on weekends because the demand on a weekday doesn't justify. Overall, I had a great time and will be back again.
