Course Highlights
Brazell's Creek offers a uniquely contrasting layout where tight, tree-lined front nine holes give way to wide-open links-style back nine holes. Exceptionally friendly staff and outstanding value make this well-maintained course a strong recommendation for golfers of all skill levels.

Brazell's Creek Golf Course has a unique layout that is like getting to play two courses in one. Designed by Georgia native Denis Griffiths, the course begins with a parkland-style front nine and then transitions into a links course. The original nine holes, the front nine, are connected to the new nine by a winding 1,500-yard bridge. The player-friendly front nine offers some good opportunities to build up your score before the more challenging back nine, which will test even the most seasoned golfers. The fairways on the front nine are tree lined and narrow but you won't have to deal with the wind, which you'll be confronted with on the longer, tougher back nine. Brazell's Creek Golf Course's signature hole is the par-3 15th. This 207-yard hole plays over wetlands to a large, undulating island green.

Decent bang for your buck

Been playing this course for over 10 years. They have made some improvements even though owned by government. Use of last minute tee times app makes it affordable. The pro shop was out of almost everything.

Best course you can play in SE GA

My hat goes off to the Super and his staff. This golf course is in superb condition.....much better than anything you can play in a 50 mile radius of Statesboro.

It’s like playing 2 totally different course

This was my first time playing here. The course is in great condition. The front nine and back nine are the complete opposite. The front is wooded area. After 9 you take about a 2 minute drive maybe longer to 10 tee box. When you are about to be at 10 tee box and come out the woods it’s like you are in a totally different place the view was amazing. What I liked the most is there was hardly anyone there so it ain’t take long at all to play 18

Great lay out and relaxing course

The course was in good shape considering how little rain we have had. I love that the front 9 and back 9 are totally different. The drive between the front and back is always an adventure. The board walk drive is a relaxing rest between the two. I also appreciate that they had cut and cleaned some of the out of bounds areas. It looked safer and easier to find your missed placed ball.

It’s well worth the money. We will definitely be back.

Greens

The greens were punched the day before we played so putting was fun. One of the guys I played with is a regular at this course and said normally they are in great shape. I was totally satisfied with this course. It is challenging and fun to play.

Good Course

The greens and fairways were in good shape. Some the tee boxes lacked grass.
