Worth the money for a 9 hole course
Buddy and I enjoy 9 hole courses to work on different aspects of our games. This course is perfect for that. Yes you will find a couple of greens that are in rough shape, But for us, our "workshop" was getting on the greens, so putting was not as important. However most of the greens were in good shape. The course has challenging Par 4s and Par 5s that take some skills to Par let alone Birdy. And course management with these holes were what we were here for.
Friendly and helpful staff. They went above and beyond to help Buddy in finding his misplaced I-Phone. After playing 18, it was only $8 more for and additional 9. Great "workshop" course. We will be back.
Good Peoples
I play here a lot. I like it because it suits my needs. We live close by so it's a great course to practice on. Four different tee boxes change how you play every hole. I love playing the golds and blues because its like playing two different courses. Also I had to work overtime and was over an hour late to my tee time. I informed them what was going on and they were gracious enough to still honor my round. Love the good peoples that work there.
You get what you pay for
Wanting to get my sons more involved with golf, I decided to book a tee time thru Golfnow. For the price and short distance from our home course, that was double the price, the pictures online looked like a win. This course was only a 9-hole course, so we had to play twice to get in 18 holes, and that was fine. The holes were fairly normal looking from a distance, but once you started playing, you realized how badly they were maintained. The course was hard as concrete, the greens were small and hard too. The fairways, oh the fairways...I lost more balls in the grass than I've ever lost hitting into water or out of bounds. Amongst the the of us, we lost 12 balls, 12 BALLS!!! On the upside, we also found 18 balls that were lost in the deep, thick, disgrace of a fairway that you've ever seen. Pass on this course. Spend the extra money and play a nicer course next time.
fine grass condition
The grass is in good condition, and above all, it is a good place for beginners to enjoy.
Good time playing here
It was a decent experience playing here anice elevation change the greens could use some work
Nice weather
I enjoy playing here. I enjoy the fact I can take my kid and we can play as slow or as fast as we want. I enjoy working on different shot shaps here. Most of the greens are in good shape. If you're looking for perfect keep looking. If you enjoy a good laid back time at a bargain then you've found a gem.
Nice!
I dont have a bad word to say about it. It's a great little course to work on shot shaping.
Rain check
Came up a thunderstorm on me. I was given a rain check by the staff. Came back a few days later to play. #3 and #4 greens are in poor shape, but everything else is green and beautiful. Using GN app or TeeOff will save you about 15 to 20 in cash vs the walk up price.
Rain Checked
It actually came up a little thunderstorm and I was given a rain check for my troubles through the golf course. I take my 3 year old daughter with me sometimes. They love her and she loves golf, so I've built up a report with some of the staff. I live close by and it's a challenging course, it makes you move the ball to score well. It's getting more green and beautiful by the day. It's not perfect and it's not fancy but it's perfect for me.
Rained out
I had just started, and was on #4 tee box when a thunderstorm came through. I had a rain check waiting on me. They're so nice and friendly. The greens are coming in nice too. Was actually putting decent before the thunder.
Greens turning green
If you are looking for a course to practice on and not break the bank this little 9 hole is a gem. Stocked bar and friendly service.
Greening up nice
The greens are slowly coming in, though some holes are dead and never will soften up and grow anything but sand and pebbles. But overall it's a fun little 9 hole that's pretty tough.
The Worst Course Possible
This is honestly the worst course my friend and I have played at. Especially when considering the fact that we drove an hour away to what we thought would live up to having “country club” in its name. The layout is god awful with a lot of overlap making it a bit confusing as to where and when to hit. The conditions were abysmal. There was not one green that looked decent. It’s impossible to putt through some of the craters on the greens. They had several trees just down laying on the fairways and general debris scattered all over the place.
My buddy and I are convinced they don’t even mow and simply allow a herd of goats to tend the land.
The worst part is the fact that they sell 18 holes. So you have to run the same 9 twice, normally this isn’t an issue. The problem occurs when you go to start the second 9 and there’s a line of people waiting to tee off for the first time. This system is inherently flawed. They should carve out that time for the expected groups playing the “back” 9.
I will never return here. I rather play sim golf and I hate sim golf. Save your money and go literally anywhere else.
The people were nice though, so there is that.
