Rained out
I had just started, and was on #4 tee box when a thunderstorm came through. I had a rain check waiting on me. They're so nice and friendly. The greens are coming in nice too. Was actually putting decent before the thunder.
Greens turning green
If you are looking for a course to practice on and not break the bank this little 9 hole is a gem. Stocked bar and friendly service.
Greening up nice
The greens are slowly coming in, though some holes are dead and never will soften up and grow anything but sand and pebbles. But overall it's a fun little 9 hole that's pretty tough.
The Worst Course Possible
This is honestly the worst course my friend and I have played at. Especially when considering the fact that we drove an hour away to what we thought would live up to having “country club” in its name. The layout is god awful with a lot of overlap making it a bit confusing as to where and when to hit. The conditions were abysmal. There was not one green that looked decent. It’s impossible to putt through some of the craters on the greens. They had several trees just down laying on the fairways and general debris scattered all over the place.
My buddy and I are convinced they don’t even mow and simply allow a herd of goats to tend the land.
The worst part is the fact that they sell 18 holes. So you have to run the same 9 twice, normally this isn’t an issue. The problem occurs when you go to start the second 9 and there’s a line of people waiting to tee off for the first time. This system is inherently flawed. They should carve out that time for the expected groups playing the “back” 9.
I will never return here. I rather play sim golf and I hate sim golf. Save your money and go literally anywhere else.
The people were nice though, so there is that.
Better than expected
I live less than a 1/4 mile away, so that's a big plus in my book. It's a 9 hole course that has seen some better days but it's a neat little couse. It's got 4 different tee boxes so players of all levels can take a whack at it. Even with the blues I still think it's less than 3 so very short. It has character though. It definitely helps if you shape the ball and it does have a few elevated greens. Speaking of greens are in ok shape and actually have a little speed to them. Overall it's a good course that doesn't break the bank and with all the difference tee boxes it's a good place to practice difference shots.
It's 9 hole couse.
It's kind of 9 hole course. The field condition is quite normal as you see other 9 hole course. It's not perfect condition but price is acceptable. Not many people played this
Sunday. No delay
Ok course at best
Pace of play was great because we were the only ones on the course for most of the round. Course management was awful looks like they cut the grass and that’s about it. There are no amenities to speak of, the driving range is just hitting balls into the pond.
Golf People Whine too much.
I look at these reviews and I’m shocked at how picky and silly some of these reviews are. One review said that “the projects are across the street” as if there are small gangs of teenagers running wild on the course. That guy is super fun at parties I’m sure. I love this course, and especially for what you pay! You can find tee times for under $20 and unlike most courses at that price this one feels like a golf course and not a cow pasture. If I’m going to give any criticism it would be sometimes the tee boxes could be in better condition and there are 2 greens that need some love. Other than that the course is awesome and I always have a great time playing through the 9 holes twice in about 2 and a half hours.
Get what you pay for!
Over all good experience if you are playing a relaxed round of golf! A couple of the greens were in rough shape but outside of that the place is decently well kept!
