Golf People Whine too much.
I look at these reviews and I’m shocked at how picky and silly some of these reviews are. One review said that “the projects are across the street” as if there are small gangs of teenagers running wild on the course. That guy is super fun at parties I’m sure. I love this course, and especially for what you pay! You can find tee times for under $20 and unlike most courses at that price this one feels like a golf course and not a cow pasture. If I’m going to give any criticism it would be sometimes the tee boxes could be in better condition and there are 2 greens that need some love. Other than that the course is awesome and I always have a great time playing through the 9 holes twice in about 2 and a half hours.
Get what you pay for!
Over all good experience if you are playing a relaxed round of golf! A couple of the greens were in rough shape but outside of that the place is decently well kept!
Decent for a quick 9
Decent for the price. Greens are in rough shape. Layout is a little tricky to follow your first time but not that bad.
*Shivers*
This place is bad. Where do I begin? The projects are across the street. Everything is rundown. The course layout is hard to figure out in the beginning. Someone was walking their dog across the course after I hit my tee shot but it was a blind shot and I had no idea he was there til I went looking for my ball. Have you ever been to a bar that smells like 40 year old cigarettes soaked into the walls and wood? That’s what their “clubhouse” smells like. Staff member was friendly. The course is in bad shape, and their greens don’t roll fast cause the grass isn’t cut down low enough. I knew this course would be bad, but even that wasn’t low enough expectations. They only have 9 holes so you just play through twice to get the 18. Player beware.
It has potential
The staff and members were very nice. The course had some nice holes. It's not fair to evaluate the course at this time as the Bermuda has not started growing yet.
needs some money and work put in
golf carts are old and sputter... no staff to be found... had to clean my own gold cart out from previous players... use an old score card because no employees were around to ask for one... club house was full of smoke.... was ignored by staff while on the course... needs a lot of landscaping... cart paths are missing in many areas or deteriorating... course hard to follow, which whole is next....you would think what it cost to be a member they could make this place nicer... looks more like a rundown bar rather than a country club golf course..
