Pearl at Kalauao

I've played Pearl many times. Its a very challenging course. Bring your A game and be ready for some fun. Staff is very nice and the restaurant has good food. I would recommend this course to anyone. A bit pricey but all courses on Oahu are priced to high. Enjoy Pearl CC!

Wonderful course on Pearl Ridge, great overlooking Pearl Harbour, with amazing views of the harbour and mountains. Multi-tiered greens were recently renovated, and played firm, fast and challenging. Some standing water on course from recent heavy rains, but staff were communicative and apologetic on check in. Overall, course was in great shape. Awesome carts with GPS, but no marshals to move slower groups along (leaving some challenges with pace of play). Overall, would highly recommend playing here during your stay on Oahu.

One of the best courses I've had the pleasure to play on. Went during rainy season, so muddy in some spots but outside of control. Beautiful views, great equipment, and extra friendly staff. So good, I had to go twice

Disastrous condition around greens. But greens surprisingly perfect. Very slow pace of play.

Overall a great time. Friendly and professional staff. Greens were great. Some of the fairways were a bit soggy. Pace of play perfect. Some holes are close to the highway, but it’s Oahu. I’ll be back.

Great staff. Greens are fast and zero flat spots. Sand surrounds every green. Great views. Definitely recommend reading greens on approach shots. Or be prepared to 3 putt. 20 balls included to warm up. Putting areas and chipping greens are a must prior to round. Very challenging course. I will definitely play it again.

New greens/new Buildings / Super friendly staff!! This course is challenging and easy to get to if staying in Honolulu. Avoid the heat and tee off early. Beautiful view of the Arizona memorial. Don’t let this one go by if visiting from the mainland!!

The Staff was the friendliest out of the five courses we played this trip! Absolutely set the vibe for the round

Staff was great, very accommodating. Course is in great shape, however, the greens were redone and have not matured. It was very difficult, almost impossible, for an approach shot to land on the green and stay on the green. Definitely a little frustrating.

I would definitely play this course again once the greens have matured.

Scattered am rain didn’t ruin my round. Course well designed to prevent pooling of water on the course. Well maintained fairways and greens.

Loved this course and friendly staff. Restaurant was friendly welcoming and very good burger !

Keep the ball in the fairway or you will struggle with the approach, trees and terrain will hinder your score. Greens insanely difficult to read but I am a crappy putter.

Will add this to our must play list on return.

It reminds me of Ko' Olau Golf course which had closed down unfortunately. This course is much dryer and a bit more open but had lots of elevation changes also. Challenging, you must keep the ball in the fairway or you are scoring will suffer greatly. The greens are by far the most undulated I have ever played and I have played allot of top courses. Elevated greens mostly, very fast. Don't hit the green on approaching or your over the back.

The clubhouse restaurant was excellent - Friendly bartender and great Smash Burgers.

We will be back loved everything about the experience except my score.

I'm from Jacksonville Florida and we have some nice courses in the area. TPC Sawgrass sets the bar for me but this course was majestic. The elevated tee box, plush fairways, and true rolling greens were spectacular. Highly recommended!

Overall, this is a really nice course. All 18 holes were open (earlier reviews said they closed 9 holes). The course was in good shape - It’s not a resort course, but still very nice. I rented clubs and they gave me a brand new set of Callaways.

Some fun, interesting holes that were a bit narrow, but quite playable. The greens were smooth and the bunkers had a good amount of sand. The staff were all super cool.

I was told this was a private course that went public. Not exactly the story. But the course has new management. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The cool towel at the end of the round was a nice touch. The course was in great shape. Played the whites at 6300 and was challenging enough for me (18 hdcp). I would recommend Pearl and will play it again

I hadn’t played in 6 months due to injuries and this was a fantastic course to jump back in with. Wasn’t overly difficult. The staff was super friendly. The driving range was adequate, although you have to provide your own rubber tee for the mats. That seems to be standard procedure in Hawaii though so it’s not just this course that does that. Overall I had a great experience. I am only giving it 4 stars because the back 9 is down for renovation. I will absolutely play here again and would recommend it to anyone!
