Hawaii Prince Golf Club - A/B Nines
About
Located on the west side of the island of Oahu, Hawaii Prince Golf Club is situated on what was once prime sugar cane land. Now the land provides 27 holes of challenging golf with panoramic views of the Waianae Mountain Range. There are three nines that can be played in three different 18-hole combinations. A/B is the least difficult of the combinations but there is still plenty of character and variety throughout the golf course. Water hazards come into play on nine holes and there are sand bunkers strategically placed throughout. Although it is considered the least challenging, the A/B features one of the most difficult of all the holes at the club, the last hole on the B course. It is a par 4 with water to the left, front, and right of the tee and it usually plays into the trade winds.

Nice open course Photo submitted by Devin1073124 on 04/27/2013
Nice course
Course was in very good shape overall. I Was a single who played with 3 very friendly gentlemen from Hawaii. Very enjoyable company, pace of play was fine and even though C greens had been aerated they were still playable.
Very good experience
Played as a single and had a very good experience. Starter was courteous and thoughtful. Course conditions were very good and the GPS system on cart helped a lot with yardages. Stiff tradewinds made for distinct challenges upwind vs. downwind. Finished in about 3 hours - most groups were twosomes and the pace was excellent. Good value for the round - would play again.
Great option in Oahu
This facility is always well maintained and the staff is super friendly and professional.
Really nice course.
Nice course. Would like to play there again. Only problem was a group of 5 locals in front of us who had no concept of pace of play. Took over 5 hours for the two of us to complete the round. Very frustrating to have to constantly wait for them. Then the men behind us would hit into us thinking we were the slowpokes. I was nearly hit by one of their balls. I would hope this isn't usually the case here because I would like to go again but we sure don't want to spend the day waiting.
Roadrunner fast!
Played at 11a. Weather was awesome. Blue skies with clouds, cool breezes, but not blustery. Course was great. Greens were fast. If you tap your putt on a downward lie, and missed the cup, it would roll out off the green. Did that for me several times. There were several tees where we had to wait, and the tees were par-4 & par-5 so didn't understand why there was a wait.
Great Staff
Pace of play was so slow. I’ve played it before but even having different groups in front of us for each 9 it was terrible. Had to skip a par three to get in front of a group that was 20 min behind pace of play.
Discriminated against GOLNOW HOTDEAL
Course layout is so so ... the maintenance not great ... but we got discriminated against Golfnow hot-deal by being given the worst and very old golf cart when everyone get a new cart with GPS. When we did asked for a better cart ... our request was denied because of how we booked the tee time. Very Disappointing!
Another beautiful day at the Hawaii Prince Golf Club
What a beautiful course and we were so happy to have had the chance to play here again. The greens were quick and well maintained and the entire course was in great shape. We definitely want to play here again. Thank you Hawaii Prince Golf Club!
Bunker needs to have more sands.
The bunker was hard with the soils.
It needs to have more sands to soften.
I enjoyed shower after finishing golf .
The faucet of the cold water was broken
and I had to change the shower partition
during shampooing my hair.
Great Course even wiithout Hawaiian Views
Not the type of course you think of in Hawaii.Built in the middle of town without and mountain or ocean views. That being said, this course has a great layout. It is difficult, but very playable for all abilities. The wind makes it a totally different course. Fairways and greens are in great shape with medium \ fast speed. This course is not just for regulars, it should be seriously looked at by visitors. A fantastic Arnold Palmer Signature course.
Asked manager to use a bag for my wife’s clubs and he refused
Said he had to charge me for use of their bag - never had a golf shop charge me for using an old bag sitting around
Lovely course
The course is challenging with its rolling fairways and various water hazards, but also well maintained. Staff was great. Can be distracting with the airplanes preparing for landing as they pass overhead. I would play there again.
