Hawaii Kai Golf Course

Horrible experience, the T times were over booked and the starter just kept taking the money and sending golfers out with every hole having two or more groups backed up on every hole we barley got in 9 holes of golf it was just pathetic

Enjoyed a nice round at Hawaii Kai. Staff was friendly, they do a great job at managing Covid rules. Pace of play was OK for a Sunday. Course was in good condition.

Lots of dead grass. Nearly all fairways have huge areas of exposed dirt and weeds.

I've lived in Hawaii Kai my whole life and I'm so embarrassed that my home course has been run into the ground. They back logged tee times so it was the first time I teed off 15 minutes after my scheduled tee time. We played 12 holes in 3 hours and 40 minutes before they pulled the flags. The course is in terrible shape, no real grass, just awful. I wish I could golf 10 minutes from my house but I have to bite the bullet and say I'm never coming here again. Just about any course on Oahu is a better deal including the muni's. Plus the people working there and the Marshall have real bad attitudes. Avoid this place.

This course was in very poor shape. Greens were ok ,but fairways and bunkers SUBSTANDARD!!. Staff was great. There is NOWAY this course is worth $120 on a Hot Deal,! It is somewhat scenic, but that didn’t offset the conditions! Rental clubs were good but still pricey! Cost over 200 to play with a bucket of balls. Not worth it. No cart girl and no halfway snack bar. Overall save your money! Play Hawai’i Prince much nicer conditions good rentals 2 sleeves of balls GPS in carts.$150 TaylorMade M5s!, DO NOT RECOMMENDED!!

It is understandable that due to the lack of tourism, some of the maintenance/watering of the fairways has dropped. But the tees and greens are in fabulous shape.

I’m sure the course will rebound when this whole pandemic ends.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately the 1/2 way house was closed.

Love the course and will play it again!

Waste of money as coutures fairways not maintained

Played on 12/30. took us (couple) about 5hours to complete. pace of play for these private courses need to change or this is a waste of your money. Playing golf has now turned into one way traffic from start to finish. imo, kills the fun and the momentum.

People were socially distanced and good pace of play. Staff here is always helpful and friendly.

The ball runs a lot and some of the tees are very challenging with some narrow fairways. The greens were in perfect conditions, fast and it was a lot of fun, specially with the scenic Diamond Head in the background, as well as the beach. Great Experience.

This is the worst course I have ever played. I was told it was a good. Fairways were horrible greens are horrible. They allow five sums twosomes threesomes foursome’s in singles on the course all at the same time which makes for a very long day.You go out at 2 PM and can’t finish because carts need to be back in by 6 pm I would not recommend this course to anyone

This has to be one of the worst courses I’ve ever played. The fairways are horrible and the pace of play was unacceptable. The price was cheap for Hawaii,, but it was still over priced. I would not recommend this course to anyone.

Pros great deal on golf now. How much 25$. Greens in great condition. Pro shop staff friendly and attentive, Cons wow where do I start slow pace of play you would think one cart per golfer would speed up play ahhh nope. Fairways in horrible shape leaves all over stripe the ball down the middle of fairway lost ball. Dirt, weeds ohh did I mention the leaves? You are probably thinking because I played horrible I’m angry and will write a negative review personally I think 39/42 is a decent score . In closing 25$ for golfing here probably will wait till Hawaii Kai GC gets it together Mahalos for reading this hope it helps all golfers no matter what skill level you are
