Great course

If you can find a deal time for this course, don't let it pass. It is well kept and the greens are incredibly challenging but roll true to speed. You will likely shoot several strokes higher than usual but you will have more fun doing so on this picturesque track.

Pace of play extremely slow

This was the first time playing this course. I went out there with my two sons, who are in their 20's and 30's. We are fairly experienced golfers. The course was nice, and since we've been having a lot of rain, it was all pretty lush and green. The problem was the pace of play. It was Memorial Day weekend, so you knew it would be a busy day (especially since people felt like they've been couped up inside with all the rain). There were obviously, a lot of first-time, or newer golfers out there who were having difficulty with their shots. I don't have a problem with that. The problem was that there were NO COURSE MARSHALLS out on the course. Either Raccoon Creek doesn't want to spring for them, or they just decided to not put any out there. You have to keep the pace moving along at a fairly good pace, otherwise it's not fun for anyone. I had no problem with the course itself. I had a problem with the course management. It was not worth the price that I and my sons paid. There was a guy playing as a single who was put with us, and he was only playing 9 because he knew that for 18 it would take too long. We had a tee time of 10:28, didn't tee off until 10:45, and we had to leave at 3:30, after only completing 15 holes. Terrible terrible course management. For the kind of money that was paid for that round, they need to hire better people to run the place.

Great Littleton course

Great staff. Very friendly and helpful. The course is well laid out with more than enough challenge for a beginner like me.

Fun course but slow as molasses

I played this course maybe a dozen times in 2014 because I had a Player's Card. I don't think we ever played in under 5 hours. The only time we ever saw a marshal on the course, he warned us for playing too slow (as we were waiting on the slowpokes in front of us to get out of range).

Nonetheless, the course layout has some really fun holes. The greens were extremely hard and fast, even after a couple of days of heavy rain.

It's a fun course but way overpriced compared to other courses in Littleton.
