Maui Nui Golf Club

The greens were awful. The course itself was in pretty rough shape. This course has really gone down hill in the past few years. Lots of better options for not much more money. Dunes at Maui Lani for example. Don't waste your money here.

Nice course, and in decent shape for the most part. It's off the beaten path for tourists, so mostly a local course. The staff was friendly, and the pace of play was excellent. Had a 7:15am tee time and there was no food or beverage options before our round. Beverage cart came around once on the back nine because they don't start until 9:00am., no food options on the cart. Restaurant didn't open until 11:00 so no food after the round either. A bit overpriced compared to other course options on the island.

Course was good but pace of play was not. 5 players in front of us playing more than one shot. Overall nice day but the bugs were a bit much. Will play again

Course is not in good shape (especially after the storm in Dec) Staff could be a bit more courteous, and the food card should have some food , not just snacks.

Always enjoy the layout. Greens slow and bumpy unfortunately.

They were ‘running behind’ on Sunday afternoon, so teed off 15min late. Pace of play was decent given late tee off.

I had a great time playing this course with a couple of nice guys the starter paired me with. Everything was perfect. I did have to start before I could warm up or practice putting; I was about 30-40 minutes early but the starter wanted to put me out right away. Can't complain though because my playing partners were friendly and knew the course -- very helpful! The course had closed their lounge so there was no food or bar service available, but they did run a beverage cart on the course so all was fine.

Very playable course if you are visiting Maui and don’t need to pay a premium to play the resort courses. Maui Nui has a friendly layout, affordable prices and friendly staff. The bar was closed for some reason but they did have a beverage cart that came around twice during our round. Great golf experience!

Lots of kvetching in the comments about conditioning and things, but let’s seriously check ourselves. This is a good layout with okay conditions that is well priced in this market. In Maui at 50-60 bucks this is a winner. Sure the greens could be quicker and yeah, there is some dirt out there where there could be grass, but layout is decent, holes are interesting, and everyone can just get over themselves and play some golf on Maui at a fair price. Weather was perfect and my resident playing partners were friendly. All good.

Very friendly staff especially the cart organizer. Course was in rough shape due to recent rains and water run off.

Clubhouse was closed so no 19th hole. Disappointing!

Greens were a little hairy and the ball did not run as good as it should have.

Still an enjoyable day at a reasonable price!

This coarse is in poor condition and wayyyyy too much for the price people that work there are the best!
