About
The classic design of Maui Nui Golf Club combines different elements including reachable holes that face each cardinal point with strong prevailing winds that reward smart play for a layout that is both fair and challenging. The layout wanders through the foothills of Haleakula, providing subtle elevation changes as well as views of the ocean and the surrounding West Maui Mountains and the volcanic atoll Molokini. The golf course has a variety of holes that will have you hitting downwind, upwind, and with both left and right crosswinds. A few lakes and ponds also come into play. Maui Nui Golf Club's layout features generous fairways and large greens. The difficulty of the course depends heavily on the speed of the prevailing winds that day. Golfers will be greatly rewarded by keeping the ball in play and good putting and chipping skills.

Overbooking
We were unable to finish our round because of slow play ahead of us. We paid for 18 but only competed 13 holes before the 6:00 cart return deadline. Should not give a 2:15 tee time,
Sad to see this course so poorly maintained
I’ve played this course many times over the years and every time conditions are a little bit worse than the year before. A much higher level of maintenance and investment is needed to put this course back in satisfactory condition and on its way back to its potential.
Maui Nui
Fun course to play with a few challenging holes to make it quite interesting. Had a great time with my teenage son here who played for $5 as he is a youth on course member. Very friendly staff and great amenities. Some of the greens needed work but overall the course is in a good shape. We played twice early in the morning and were done in about 4 hours.
Amazing Day
Family trip to Maui and some time opened up to squeeze in a round. Very reasonable rate and staff made it super easy to get set up as we didn’t bring our own clubs. This course is challenging and great variety of holes.
Our trip to Maui
Maui had some great golf and this course definitely had the “bang for your buck”. It was cheaper than other courses, had many incredible views and was very well taken care of. Staff was extremely friendly and the golf was just amazing. Insanely memorable golf shots, views, and game play. My only issue was the pace of play in which it was extremely fast. I was only playing with my girlfriend who is just starting out and obviously we play at an average pace. The players behind us were playing very fast and continually rushed us. When we tried to have them play through, they did not want to. We were playing 10 minutes above pace and they still were tailing us. Obviously, this isn’t the golf clubs fault! Amazing experience and would definitely recommend.

Had a great time playing the front 9 at Maui nui, it wasn’t crowded, very affordable and very kid friendly which I really appreciate

Good value, good condition. A lil slow but it was a Sunday, rentals were in ok shape
