A good course and reasonably priced for Maui. Very windy on the day I played due to pending storm.

Played here in the past while on vacation and, of all the courses I played, this was the one I chose to replay this time around because of how unique it is and the value you get compared to resort courses. Beautiful layout, awesome views, easy to hit off fairway grass, great greens, cooler temps. Only downside is that the sand in traps can be like concrete thanks to wind drying them out. A fun course that I will probably always play when in Maui.

The course is in good condition with the exception of the 14th green. The course maintenance is addressing the problem and I know they will resolve it satisfactorily.

Greens were recently poked and had not recovered yet.

I live on the 17th fairway. I joined as a member this year as I am getting back into golf after a ten year hiatus. This is a super fun course, with varies challenges along the way. Fairways are pretty open, but all are lined with pine trees. Stay inside the trees & enjoy much better scores. Grass varies & is different than other courses you may encounter on Maui. Staff is awesome & friendly. They really need to rebuild the clubhouse that burned down apx. 8 years ago. Great value for locals & visitors alike. I may be biased, but this is my home course & I love it!

I had played golf on almost every course in Maui, except Pukalani because I was worried about the long drive. From Kihei / Wailea, I was pleased to find out that it actually is not that long to get there.

Once there, I found the course to be challenging, but very fair. The yardage book is also helpful. They had recently aerated the greens, so they had some light sand on them, which made them slower. than usual.

The pro shop is very tiny, I believe it's temporary, until they build the real one. They had excellent discount prices on apparel & shoes, although the selection is limited due to the small size.

The course puts you in your own little world. The trees are mature & it is an interesting layout. Some of the holes have very nice views & others are secluded with the trees and valleys.

Conditions are good, though not immaculate. Then again, you are not paying huge bucks to play. This is a very good value. I will definitely play here again. It's a fun, challenging course & again, an excellent value for the money.

Up on the hill, it can be cooler than many of the other courses, so bring a sweater or wind shirt, although the morning I played was beautiful.

After golf, I had saimin at the restaurant, which was very good.

I will definitely make it a point to play here again on my next Maui trip.

My wife & I have played this course on a previous visit to Maui, and really enjoyed it once again. These are generally long, challenging holes and on the 3rd, you can REALLY challenge yourself or take the easier way out which adds interest. Definitely need a cart - we are used to walking slightly shorter courses which we prefer, but... Staff were super friendly, and judging by the number of patrons at the restaurant, it must be great. We'll be back!!!

This course was in great condition. The staff was friendly, helpful, and informative. Pace of play was very good. No ice chests on cart, no drink cart, and no cart GPS, so come prepared. Origina l clubhouse burned down 7 years ago so snack bar, merchandise, and pro shop operate out of a trailer. Nevertheless, I will go back there on our next trip to Maui.

Big mistake I made was showing up early. Course rule no one gets checked in until 20 minutes before tee time. The check in person was upset that I did not know this rule, and told me that I should come back in 30 minutes . I did 27 minutes later, after noting that I was still early, the Golf Now payment was honored. Once past the check in problems , we were treated as valued customers. The course is fun with several challenging holes, one across a ravine for a par 3.

I got the impression from the check in lady that golf now folks should not arrive early. My effort to find the course from a place I had never driven from got me a reprimand and a 30 minute cooling off penalty. To be fair they do not check any one in until 20 minutes before the tee time. My problem was that I did not know this and I was treated poorly by the person behind the desk. There is a hostility on the Islands to mainlanders and this May be the case at check in. Once we passed the gate keeper we were expedited to the first tee by excellent professional staff. The round was fun but always with a feeling of what did I do to deserve this treatment from check in. It is a good play, but wow don't arrive early.

Very nice staff. Course was recovering from aerification but, was still in good shape. Would play again when I return to Maui.

Nice layout. Great views. OB a little tight on some holes especially with the wind and trying to shape a shot. Greens in great shape and roll true. Grain really affects the putting. Played with my wife and a very women friendly course.

It was well worth the money and wonderful upcountry views. Highly recommend. Winds made it a challenge. Nice course and greens are in super shape....smooth and true.

Love everything about this place! Wish they would tear down the old clubhouse and build a new one! Wonderful location and temperatures are always cooler than the rest of the islands golf courses! A must play!

We thought the course was decent. The directions on getting to each hole however, is something that can be improved. Other than that, it was a good course and a good value.

The past few years has seen a major improvement in the greens going from one of the worst on the island to one that is par with the resort courses. Tee boxes and fairways consistently well maintained.
