Where’d the $13.3 million go
“Not sure where that 13.3 million dollars went but it sure wasn’t the course. I grew up going to sportsman and to see that money wasted on a parking lot and clubhouse is despicable.
The greens are awful, dirt areas everywhere. The teeboxes are ball above or below your feet and torn up. I will never go back.”

Nice course in busy suburb
This course has potential. Unfortunately it was recently renovated and reopened. So I had some unlucky results. Reasonable course for bogey golfers.

Nice course to walk
Course is in good shape, challenging greens,, plays longer than it is. Great course to walk and a great course for the price. The clubhouse and amenities are all top notch, and the staff is wonderful.

Pretty but…
Really pretty course and prettier clubhouse and facilities. Matts for range is uninspiring but plenty of room and good places to chip and putt. Adirondack chairs facing the 18th green is a nice way to hang on the 19th. However, tee boxes were generally in horrible shape, fairways had lots of standing water and greens weren’t taken care of by players or supervisors.

SINGLE PLAYER
IT WAS MY IMPRESSION THAT I WAS GOING TO PLAY AS A SINGLE. AS IT TURN OUT MY DESIRE TO PLAY AS A SINGLE WOUND UP AS A FOURSOME. TWO OF THE PLAYERS WERE HORRIBLE, EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE NICE GUYS. ONE OF THE FOUR LEFT TO PLAY BY HIMSELF ON THE 12TH HOLE. I DID THE SAME ON THE 14TH HOLE. HAD I NOT DONE THAT, I MIGHT STILL BE OUT THERE.

Poor Upgrade
Played there yesterday for first time since their course upgrade. Must say I was disappointed. Greens were very slow. Different type of grass was put into fairways, didn’t seem all that good. Have played there many times in past 35 years. I think the money went into the clubhouse, which is very nice, but course is whats most important.
I’ll try it again in a few weeks, hope I’m wrong about what was done.

Not impressed
Not impressed with all the renovations. Greens were beat up, fairways were brown in parts, rough was rough looking in parts. $79 to play, not worth it. Also rangers bothered our group every few hole about catching up to the group ahead of us, even though we played at a pace of 4:20 and the group behind us was a full hole behind us…
