First time. Will be back
Very impressed with the course. First time playing it. Greens in great shape. Will be back.
An undiscovered gem
This is s a semi-private course in a gated community that far exceeded our expectations. The fairways, tees and greens were all in excellent and the layout is excellent. - very rolling, heavily wooded and every hole is unique. At the Hot Deal price it is a steal. My only complaints are the hard sand traps which were impossible to blast out of, and the lack of a snack bar or cart girl, although they did have drinking water on a couple of holes. We will definitely return to this gem.
again
how many times would you like me to review this course? c'mon folks - we play here 10 times per season
Another fun round at a great facility!
Played a Monday afternoon round with three great gentlemen. The facility, course and staff are first rate! It’s a pleasure to get to play a round at this course! If you get a chance, do it!
The only criticism is the sand traps are lacking sufficient sand not allowing for explosion shots limiting effective play. If this is corrected will be a great course.
Nice Course in Very Good Condition
Great conditions. A mixture of long and short par 4s in a traditional tree line setting
Long , difficult par 3s
Very fast round, course was not crowded
The course it's in great shape
Pace of play is excellent. Greens are fast, fairways are in great shape. The bunkers need a little more sand though but it's not bad considering we it rained hard 2 days ago.
Not crowded course
I usually play around noon with Hot deal. Generally very few people are playing that why I like this course ,speedy playing beside nice layout and well maintained course. Course is up and down ,not flat but very seldom loose ball.
Hidden Gem in Barrington area
Its like playing at a country club. Nice layout, very well maintained fairways and greens, and no waiting!
Its a shame this course is in a gated community. It isn't that big of a deal to tell the guard your tee time, but it is an extra hassle most people won't like. However, the "plus" side is that you can play in about 3 hours for a foursome.
I would suggest that the course get permission from the HOA for a separate public entrance and create a pass gate for resident's transponders to get into the complex.
The HOA will never give the course permission for a separate entrance to the golf course. The HOA (and most residents of the community) would prefer that the general public not be admitted and that tee times not be sold on Internet websites.
Good course with good pace of play
Nice course with good layout. Course was in excellent condition. Would definitely recommend the course.
Kind of funny that you think the course is in such great condition. I've been playing it for over 35 years and I've never (EVER) seen it in worse condition. The greens are gummy and slower than I've ever seen them and rough is full of weeds, where weeds have never grown before.
