Nicer Than Before
Used to golf this course years ago. This was the best condition I have seen it in. Slow greens but overall great course, especially at price point. Going to return soon!
Challenging course, great layout
I enjoyed the variation between the front nine and the back nine, with the back nine being more fun due to the ski hills. The courses are challenging yet playable. My only critique is that the fairway grass was a little longer than it should be
Very dry and hard. No real pro shop or restaurant/bar open
Villa Olivia
I’ve been playing Villa Olivia for quite a few years and it’s pretty easy going. The layout is decent and it’s always fun to drive from the top of the ski hill. Not bad.
Villa Olivia
The carts worked well. No GPS. I have to say that the greens are in very good condition. The rest of the course was in fair shape.
The water containers on course were empty.
Has porta johns on the course for bathrooms.
No one was attending the bar inside.
Not thrilled
The sand bunkers were horrendous, unkempt. The greens were bumpy and slow. They need to make 11 a par 3 to avoid the snow lift wires. (Would still make it a par 72), and the grounds staff ran their machines as if the golfers didn't exist, or as if they cared less. Cutting around the greens while we are trying to hit approach shots, sitting on the 1st cut while we're teeing off or continuing to drive mowers down the fairway, driving their mowers around us as were are hitting on the fairway. Terrible customer awareness.
Standard weekend warrior course
This wasn’t a terrible course, it was just bland. The tee boxes needed to be cut and were in bad shape and same goes for the greens. The fairways were in average condition. The course was not overly challenging and the majority of the challenge just came from playing there for the first time and not knowing the distances. The course has some interesting holes because I think it was built on an old ski resort. All things considered it was ok but I dont have any urgency to play again.
