Cardinal creek
No yardage markers.....rough way too high.....way too slow of pace. Way too much dead trees cut up and not removed.
Awesome
Great course, 3 different 9 holes each a different difficulty/style. Staff is great, price is great, course is great.
Course got hit with heavy rains recently so there were areas that showed where it had been flooded but still a great day. Staff is super friendly and the greens were great and tough.
Course Was Soaked
I have played this course before and intend to play it again. When we played, serious rainstorms had unfortunately saturated the course from several days before. No fault of the course whatsoever. It was cart path only, and I understand why. Nice people run the place, and they are trying hard to do their best.
Great course
Overall great course for its price. Clean, taken care of, and fun course. Some easy and hard holes for 3 9 hole courses that allows you to keep pace of play!
Rough outing
I preface this review by saying no one in my foursome was playing well this day. Some of the poor play is definitely due to the rough which is very long and filled with dandelions. Some holes it was hard to tell the fairway from the rough. The tee boxes were also over grown in my opinion and unless you had a super long tee part of your ball was covered by grass when teeing up. Greens were in very good shape. Pace of play was excellent. Staff at the course was excellent. $5 for a nice size hot dog plus chips was a pretty good snack at the turn. Beer prices were reasonable. The course layout is pretty interesting. 3 par 5's in a row. Some greens we're very small and made for fun difficult targets. Others were big with decent slope. $20 for 18 w/cart is a good value for the course but I wouldn't pay more.
Hidden Gem!
The new owner John, has worked very hard to make Cardinal Creek a well- groomed, challenging course. The fairways are lush, the rough is well groomed, and the greens put you to the test. The staff is very accommodating. Because there are three nines, you can mix up your play every time you golf. The bar/restaurant offer a nice menu for the 19th hole.
If you haven't ventured out to Beecher, it is worth the trip!!
Great place
Ive always liked this course. Choice of 3 9 hole courses. The only complaint i might have is. There are several areas on each course that are completely blind(dangerous). But never had an incident. But overall. A great place. Staff nice and friendly. Ive had the buffet. Nothing mind blowing,but the price is great. I will be back!!
Cardinal Creek - Always fun to play
The weather was in the 50's and it was my first time out in 2018. Due to recent rains the course was naturally wet and squishy and therefore it was "cart path only", so I got a lot of exercise walking back and forth to the cart. Despite the weather the tee area was fine and the greens were in excellent shape. This course is always fun to play. I played the nice hole North and Center courses. The South was not open yet this early 3-28-18. I always love coming here as you have three nine hole courses that vary.
Good condition for December!
Even though it was December the course was is very good condition.
Destination Kohler - Champions' Trail Golf Package
Hi, I am the Manager of Cardinal Creek and i am sorry to hear that you has a less than desirable experience. I can only tell you that due to the 7 inches of rain we had between April 30th and May 3rd 2019 we were unable to get everything cut and picked up by the weekend. I hope that you come back and see what the true potential of Cardinal Creek is when we don't have Extreme weather Conditions as a factor.
