Orchards Golf Course
About
The Orchards Golf Club in Belleville offers an 18-hole championship course designed by Belleville native and former Masters winner Bob Goalby. With four sets of tees, the course appeals to a wide range of skill levels. The layout starts out with a gentler front nine where you won’t find any doglegs on the first six holes but as you move towards the back nine, the course gets more challenging. The golf course has an interesting and diverse mix of holes, with the seventh through the 14th being a particularly notable stretch. You’ll have to contend with abundant out-of-bounds and both water and sand come into play often. In addition to the golf course, the Orchards G.C. boasts a multi-level driving range as well as a large practice putting green with a sand bunker.

Good time, weather fine, course fun!
It's winter here in the midwest, so no one can expect pristine conditions at any course. The Orchards upgraded some of the holes in the last few years, and they did an excellent job. The should look great in Spring and throughout next Summer.
Not worth it
No yardage markers on the course. Fairways were horrible and almost non-existent.....dirt and dead grass. Round took forever. Not sure what the marshall was doing b/c the group in front of us was horribly slow and wouldn't let us play through. Guess he was just enjoying the weather.
Only positive is that the greens were in great shape.
Will not play here again.
Nice course layout, but conditions are lacking.
The Orchards at one time was a premier course in the area. Sadely, that is no longer true. I keep going back in the hopes the conditions have gotten better. The changes they have made on a three of the holes have made the course better, but they are STILL having troubles with their fairways. This past hot summer has killed a couple of them and they are nothing but bare dirt. I guess the course does not have the money to water the proper amount to keep the grass alive. During the summer the course fairways were brown and the rough just died. I would say play this course in the Spring when it gets plenty of water, but once the hot Summer hits go to other places that can keep the grass alive.
Not as I remembered
Don't know if it was the heat of this summer but this course got beat up. Remember playing years ago and liked the course. This time it was not in good condition. Disappointed.
Very poor condition would not play would not play again.
Very poor condition needs alot of maintenance. Could understand because weather conditions but this was more than just weather conditions.
