Let the players play
I would have appreciated the course much better if I didn't have to wait on the greens mower. I mean the guy behind me was two or 3 holes back. The course is hampered by its residential location and close to an active rail line.

Little too close to the road
The staff and value make up for a very compact course that seemed to be designed between two subdivisions. I actually played my worst golf, partly due to the constraints and it had just rained a lot. I will be back though.

Yorktown is a great place to work on your iron/short game. Greens are always well maintained and a lot of work has been done to the course to keep it in good shape. Cheap enough to play with buddies regardless of experience and everyone can have fun.

Rock hard tee boxes
Play discourse on eight 2122. Can’t put a tea in the tea box without breaking the tea because they are so hard. It cost $30/ person to play 18 holes with cart on this par 3 course. There are many par 4 courses you can pay 18 holes on the weekend for around $35 in our area especially after 3 on Sundays. I will not return
