The Meadows Golf Club of Blue Island

We were told we were a hole behind on the 3rd hole. We had the 750am tee time . Starter said he was going to put a single out in front of us . I didn’t think we were a full hole behind but some in my group were struggling, so we picked up the pace, within a hole we were waiting on the single to hit , he was waiting on the 3some in front of him. At the 8th hole we were harassed again saying we were a hole behind but explained we had waited on the last 4 holes!! He had completely forgot about the single between us and had lost track of where he was . Well he finally put the single with the 3some . We finished the front at 957 we teed off at 754……. 2 hours and 3 min . When we got to the tenth tee there were 2 groups we had never seen before obviously sending groups off both tees on a Sunday am .a real cluster , and being harassed for slow play when clearly there was none . Never play here again . Way overpriced as well.

Decent shape and open to miss anywhere, but the tee boxes are not flat and no one fixes their divot on the greens. Didn’t have too many players on the course.

Definitely will go back. They have been making great improvements to the course.

Was the first tee time out and the round still took over 4 hours and that’s with skipping 2 holes. Every Tuesday a group of 8 guys play the back 9 which caused a huge backup at the turn when we were coming around. Instead of allowing us to play through the ranger advised us to skip 11-12 and head straight to 13 where we still waited for a group to tee off and proceeded to wait 5+ minutes for every shot after that on the way in. By the end of the 18th we were just so fed up with how they managed the entire situation that we didn’t even bother going back and playing the holes we skipped. I did ask for a rain check before teeing off on the 10th because I could see how the rest of the round was going to go and that got denied. Not sure I’ll ever be back, and if I do it most definitely will not be a Tuesday morning

Course was in decent shape but the group one ahead of us was so slow they had 3 holes at least open on front of them. We were able to skip 2 holes and then go back and play them after so it all worked out.

I thought it would be crowded because it was the Saturday before Mother's Day but the surprise wind we got probably made golfers wait until Sunday to play. With that, it wasn't crowded but the course moved very slow. I wish they had rangers that managed pace of play because I was playing behind a very slow foursome of teenage boys that took 6 minutes each to tee off. The course is in great condition with the exception that the rough is cut like my backyard grass, a little too high for my liking but overall cared for and manicured very nicely. The staff is TOP NOTCH! I will play about 5 more rounds there this golf season.
