About
Blackberry Oaks in Bristol is a public golf course that has been recognized as one of the Chicagoland area's best courses. The course design utilizes the natural beauty and hazards of the landscape including the native wetlands, grassy prairies, and towering stands of mature oaks. Blackberry Creek also meanders through the course. In addition to the natural hazards, a heavy smattering of strategically placed bunkers was also incorporated into the design. Although it can seem intimidating, the golf course isn't overly formidable if you can manage to stay out of the sand and water. The third and 12th holes are two par 4s that are memorable for their water hazards. The third has a lake along either side and the 12th has a green that is almost entirely surrounded by water.

Good conditions
Very nice greens. Everything was in good condition. Play was slow because of the crowd.
Good layout/needs work
Nice layout with several challenging holes, greens and fairways in good condition. Rough was so deep that balls disappeared. Sand traps unplayable as they're full of small club destroying stones. Would be 4* course with cutting the rough and putting sand in the bunkers
Definitely A+++
Super awesome round, course was in perfect condition!
Great Course
The course was in really good condition especially for December. Very cheap for 18holes. Having a computer in the cart was great to have and you don’t see it often with how cheap it was to play.
Great track for a late November round
Booked this round when I thought the weather would be decent but it turned cold, none the less it was a nice day. Great format, would love to see some work done on the greens, but I’m sure mid summer this place is a gem. Can be stretched to 6600+ when played from the back of all tees for a tough day as well.
