About
Blackberry Oaks in Bristol is a public golf course that has been recognized as one of the Chicagoland area's best courses. The course design utilizes the natural beauty and hazards of the landscape including the native wetlands, grassy prairies, and towering stands of mature oaks. Blackberry Creek also meanders through the course. In addition to the natural hazards, a heavy smattering of strategically placed bunkers was also incorporated into the design. Although it can seem intimidating, the golf course isn't overly formidable if you can manage to stay out of the sand and water. The third and 12th holes are two par 4s that are memorable for their water hazards. The third has a lake along either side and the 12th has a green that is almost entirely surrounded by water.

Nice course
Nice course. Many interesting holes. Great condition. Back tees challenging for the better players, front tees make it doable for developing golfers.
Slow play
Went out as a single two foursomes ahead of me would not let me play through rangers were no help

Course played great for so early in the season. The greens were very fast and in great shape.

Good: Fairly well maintained, moderate difficulty, nuances in course design make a flat terrain quite interesting. Walkable, Senior friendly course. Sand bunkers are much better than the last time I played here
Would Like to see some improvements in: repairing the tee boxes. (They are a total mess) ; fixing the numerous divots on every fairway, ; repairing some bald patches on a few fairways; repairing some muddy low spots

Best Course In The AREA!
I’ve been golfing here at blackberry for a quite a while! The staff is amazing here, always smiling and welcoming you like it’s your first time ! The course is always kept clean, so your golfing experience can be amazing every time! Golf carts have GPS tracker for site map , Bluetooth and electronic score cards, so you can always be engaged ! There’s not another course I would rather play at then Blackberry Oaks! - Trevino
Windy ride
Got to the course early and was allowed to fall into an earlier tee time. Pared with two other players and was able to play the round in 3 hours. Course was in excellent condition and play moved well. We had a foursome in front and a twosome behind and all played quickly. Fun time and the rain weather held off.

Course is in really good shape for this time of year and greens rolled fantastic
Good course, great value
This course is usually over $50 to play. Found a $36 deal time and booked it. Would play every month at that price. Challenging course, greens currently in good condition. Guy in pro shop super friendly.
