Not worth the time
Like the course design because it isn’t all about the driver. However no ranger, pace of play is horrendous. Played last year 6 hour round and was reminded why I never came back. A group of 5 in front of my playing from blue can barely tee off backing up everyone. Replayed 3 holes to make a gap and still caught up to the group in front.
Great course, UNGODLY slow pace of play
This course is fantastic. Great price for a weekday twilight, can almost always get 18 in after work even while walking, it’s in good condition. The last few times I’ve been here have been ungodly slow. It’s a hard course, golf is a hard game, I get it. But there needs to be a full time ranger out there moving people along. On almost every tee box on the back 9 we watched the entire group ahead of us watch each other hit instead of moving along to their ball and be ready to hit when it was their turn. Or spend 10 minutes where they ALL looked for their ball OB. Bro you shanked it into the houses, drop and move on. Give it up. Maybe we like to play too fast, but we aren’t that good and are still able to walk and get a full 18 in in under 4 hours if the pace is good. Last night it took almost 5. Absolutely brutal.
Waited 30 Minutes for a Cart
There were at least 4 groups waiting at the first tee as the course did not have enough carts. Our point was that they should not have offered more tee times than they could support, as this led to a lot of customer complaints. The poor staff in the pro shop as well as the starter were in a no-win situation, and their management were of no help. We went to provide feedback to the assistant manager at the end of our round, and he was rude and inconsiderate. We will never go back.

Difficult!
Lots of water as everyone said. Definitely a tough layout, but doable. Pace of play was pretty decent for it being a holiday. Most likely won’t be back for a bit until my skill level is aligned with the course. Water on 15/18 holes.

Excellent Round - No beverage cart
Overall experience was excellent. Pace of play was good but we had a 4 some of walkers in front of us which did slow things down a bit. I was surprised they allowed walkers on a busy holiday weekend. Also, no beverage cart was disappointing. It was a hot sunny day so some beverages would have been welcomed.

Challenging Layout, Excellent Value
Fantastic course that forces you to play golf. Multi tier fairways, unique greens, hilly landscape, and lots of water. Twilight at $35,00 is a fantastic deal.

Enjoyable Round
Never played this course before. Just reviewed online a few days before playing. It does have a lot of water maybe four holes out of 18 are water free. ( bring balls).A GPS or app would be very helpful. Play smart golf and you'll enjoy your round.

It’s only missing a driving range
I’m glad I researched the course before playing the first time. Stopped at Buffalo Grove Golf Course to practice beforehand. First time and I will be back. Great layout, not long. The whole course was in great shape. Great stater and rangers. No Bev cart or water.
