Recommend if you are looking a decent course at a great price.

I enjoyed my round here, but would say the pace of play is slow- luckily 2 groups let us play thru - we were a 2 some.

There was a temporary green on 13 and 14 was closed (we found both out while on the back 9).

Course was in good condition.

No driving range.

Played from blue tees (6000 yds). Felt yardage was shorter then advertised.

A lot of holes if you hit driver you may run out of fairway and be in rough or a hazard. Not a course for people who like to hit driver off the majority of tees.

Also, almost no yardage markers on the course (except 150 yard pole) and no GPS. Though most people have lasers sights to shoot the distance, markers would help the average/below average golfer play faster.

Overall nice facility and course. Some holes very scenic, but yardage seemed a bit off on the course. Pace of play a little slow for a week day.

Course was in pretty good shape. Greens are narrow and tough but for the most part, fair. Fairway bunkers could use some work around the lips.

Where this course lost my business was the pace and the failure of the starter and rangers. We played in a few minutes under 5 hours. This is simply unacceptable. We also started 20 minutes late because the starter was holding everyone up because one of his regular buddies was running late. Pace was in no way enforced, and the rangers drove by multiple times looking at 3 groups on a par 3 and not saying a word. I realize the golf industry is hurting - maybe this is why. People don't want 5 hour rounds. Though I enjoyed the course, the pace and ineptness of the rangers/starter will be the reason I don't return, nor will I recommend the course.

I have driven by this course for years and finally decided to play it since the cost is reasonable. What a pleasant experience! Very well maintained, beautiful fairways and greens. The course is very scenic with all the trees, undulating land,and water features. It truly is an Arboretum. It is not forgiving of miss hit shots, so bring plenty of balls if you shoot around 100. I'm looking forward to playing it again.

It,s been a while since I played here. It's a fun, beautiful, and challenging course and I love playing here. The only reason I stopped coming was because of the pace of play. It was torturous long. But my last round was paced well and I will definitely return. Hopefully they have corrected there pace problem because it's a awesome course.

Great course fire the $. Greens are somewhat fast. Playing from the tips is around 6500 but feels like 7000.

Very slow pace of play had to wait over 1/2 hour at the turn

From tee box to greens the course was in great shape. Several short par 4's but challenging due to dog-legs and water. Will definitely play there again.

I wish they had a warm up facility. The first few holes are tight with water on the right and houses on the left. Rick Reed and his staff do a great job! The greens are nice and smooth ( they would be better if everyone fixed their ball marks)

I played this course first time and course layout and green/fairway condition was good with some challenging... Score was more worse than average and hope I'm going to revisit to play this course again.

This is a tricky course. Got some tough greens. Good value. If you live in northern suburbs is a must.

Arboretum is a very nice course but very challenging for the average player. Unless you drive bullets you should leave the driver in the bag. Even a nice looking drive can roll off into the water when it hits the sloped fairways. The typical hole has water on the right, houses on the left, and bunkers or gullies in the middle. Some fairways are built like islands requiring you to clear several hazards and place your shots precisely on the way to the green. Greens are in excellent condition and not unreasonably sloped or tricked up, but pin placements along side deep bunkers are a challenge.

Friendly staff, great rates, and a wonderful course. Came on as a single but got paired up with a couple of other guys. Enjoyed my round with the company and will be back soon.

Very nice course with friendly staff. Complementary Tees available in the cart and proshop. Lost lots of balls in the water and on narrow fairways.

Course is in very good shape and worth the $. Some tricked up holes but makes you play different clubs off many tees

Arboretum was in good shape, and more importantly the greens were consistent. We played behind a slow group on the front nine and NEVER saw a ranger. Fortunately, they quit after nine and we played in a little under four hours. I'll go back and play this course again!

Very tough course,front 9 regular back 9 links style. Great layout with water and sand. Golf now price fantastic
