About
Buffalo Grove Golf Club is an 18-hole municipal course that offers an enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. The gently rolling terrain is covered with mature trees and wetlands, all of which provide challenges on the course. In addition to the natural hazards, there are a few strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. Accuracy will be helpful when maneuvering the tree-lined fairways but it's not a terribly punishing golf course. There are a few tricky spots, but overall it's a forgiving and player-friendly layout. It's ideal for beginners and also good for a quick and casual round for any skill level. The golf course's affordability is another appealing aspect of the course. Buffalo Grove G.C. also offers a practice facility with a 25-station driving range and pitching and chipping greens.

Great greens
I've plaved Buffalo0 Grove golf course for more than 40 years. The greens were the best ever--they would rival the best private courses. Other than water in the bunkers (there were torrential rains the prior day and evening) the course was perfect. There is no course anywhere in the area that's a better value. Club house personnel are always helpful and courteous.

Always an enjoyable experience
The Buffalo Grove course has a nice natural lay out that allows for a fun but challenging round of golf. The course is always well maintained. The rough is fair and the greens are in excellent shape. In addition, the staff are always personable and pleasant to deal with. This is a great course to have in the rotation!

Needed to get out
Played on a Friday so..... Next day was a Junior Tournament. I would've thought the course should've been in better condition than it was. Greens ran pretty true, but some imperfections that I hoped they'll take care of before Tournament time. It's been a while since I played it, but this time it didn't impressed me.

Golfer 22
Always a fun course to play and was in decent shape . Only downside was we were a 3 some and the 4 some in front of us was painfully slow and never asked us if we wanted to play through as we waited minutes on Every shot ! Wish there was a ranger on course that would have come by but besides that a great experience.

Pleasant Experience Golfing
The course was very nice. Pace of play varied. Sometimes fast, sometimes it slowed down. Yardage markers could be a bit more clear.

course was in great shape.
usually a pretty slow track. finished in 3:30. sand traps need a little TLC but overall course looks great.

Sporty but slow
Course was in good shape..fun layout..but slow play..seemed 75% of players were walking.

Not a bad track
Pace was good. Rough was deep, Some fairways near the creek bore marks of flooding from the rain we had the previous week.
