Buffalo Grove Golf Club is an 18-hole municipal course that offers an enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. The gently rolling terrain is covered with mature trees and wetlands, all of which provide challenges on the course. In addition to the natural hazards, there are a few strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. Accuracy will be helpful when maneuvering the tree-lined fairways but it's not a terribly punishing golf course. There are a few tricky spots, but overall it's a forgiving and player-friendly layout. It's ideal for beginners and also good for a quick and casual round for any skill level. The golf course's affordability is another appealing aspect of the course. Buffalo Grove G.C. also offers a practice facility with a 25-station driving range and pitching and chipping greens.

I play BG on a regular basis. I great aspect I find at this course in the fall is the diligence the staff takes to keep the course playable by continuously blowing the leaves off the fairway and mulching them once pushed into the rough. This helps speeding up play by reducing time “loosing” your ball because in rolled under some leaves,

Very good for a muni course
Challenging course with fair share of water, sand, trees, and out of bounds to test all of your skills.
Have run a league there for over 30 years and have always been treated great by course staff and afterwards at the "19th hole"!
Would recommend playing to anyone regardless of skill level.
Good practice areas. Big putting green. Solo chipping green as well. And grass driving range !!
Overall good course. Little price but how do you expect for places to stay alive in this economy. Great layout. And green maintenance was fairly good. Green are a tad bit slow I will say.
terrific public course
Greens and fairways are in excellent shape. Traps are well manicured and usually plenty of sand. No staff any better. Friendly and helpful.
Bang for Buck
Great conditions, some fun and interesting holes including a “pick your green” par 4 and some fun water traps that run across the fairways. Hard to beat at this price level, would definitely go back. Park district course, I did not see any cart staff.
Great Course at a great price!
I've played here a few times, and the conditions have always been good. I would recommend trying out this course, and the restaurant looks great too!
Great day out on the old golf course
Sal and Tony’s is outstanding for food. If not for less than stellar golfing performance, the day would have been perfect. Beautiful setting and great weather. Eggplant Parmesan for the 19th hole.

Played this course twice this weekend. The condition was great, staff was friendly, and we had a great time. I would definitely recommend playing here. Great practice amenities too. Good value, and I will be back!
