About
Buffalo Grove Golf Club is an 18-hole municipal course that offers an enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. The gently rolling terrain is covered with mature trees and wetlands, all of which provide challenges on the course. In addition to the natural hazards, there are a few strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. Accuracy will be helpful when maneuvering the tree-lined fairways but it's not a terribly punishing golf course. There are a few tricky spots, but overall it's a forgiving and player-friendly layout. It's ideal for beginners and also good for a quick and casual round for any skill level. The golf course's affordability is another appealing aspect of the course. Buffalo Grove G.C. also offers a practice facility with a 25-station driving range and pitching and chipping greens.

Great value here. Course is well maintained and challenging with several small greens. Tee boxes, greens and bunkers all well maintained. Rough is, as it should be penal, but not overly so.
Staff is friendly and caring of the customers. Sal & Tony's is great place for post round drinks and food.
Good shape despite drought
Dry if you get off the fairways (which I do often) but to be expected due to no rain for weeks! Otherwise in great shape!
Not a good place to golf the staff that work there where not kind
The staff was not good and the starter was a jerk and later in the round he told me to not come back . And the other ranger said to me if you don’t like it get where money back.

Well kept nice layout
Really nicely kept course with a layout that is challenging yet not too difficult. Plenty of water and sand and very open for those of us that have a tendency to spray!

Decent golf, but Mens Room total disaster
The mens bathroom was flooded and unusable. In my view the course should have been closed, but at the very least the restaurant should have been closed. Health code issues galore. I only played 9 holes as a result.
Nice Day on the course
As things are very dry around the area, this course is also very dry. Could use some TLC here and there to freshen it up.

Perfect weather makes for a great day out at the old golf course. Be sure to stay for a meal at Sal and Tony's Italian Restaurant; eggplant parmesan sandwich with meat sauce on panini with french fries.
