General course experience!
The only complaint was that the rough needed to be cut back a bit. Cary is a very friendly course and the staff is great. Cary is doing a great job with maintaining the course this year. Kate is a great asset to CC ,she is very friendly and know how to treat her guests. Kate's downfall was she said she would keep the rain away on Sunday and didn't hold true to her word! Well I guess there are just somethings that are out of her control! Thanks Kate for a great experience Sunday.

Don’t be fooled
This course is in public course shape as far as fairways go. Greens are in great shape and roll true. The layout is fantastic. Up and down for 18 holes. Great vistas with elevation. Highly recommended for a casual round!

Grounds were much better !
This was the best green and tees than I have seen in a long time. They were being taken care of much better. Enjoyed playing there.

I played this coarse earlier in the year and what an improvement the fairways and greens where in much better shape today than I have seen earlier, also the lawnmowers would stop when you were hitting the ball very nice of yhem!

Great views
Old school golf. Great piece of land! Decent track. Decent conditions. The kind of course I learned on. Great value for the money.

Great course for the money
Course is in good shape. It was hard to differentiate the fairways and the rough, fairways were in good shape the rough is just cut very short. Greens are soft and pretty slow. Lots of good elevation change but a very short course. Enjoyable round and will be coming back.

Unique Course in the area but could be better
My son and I played Cary Country Club for the first time the Friday before the July 4th weekend. We were pleasantly surprised. The course was in great shape. We had a mid-morning tee time and pace of play was acceptable. I wouldn't want a later tee time as the course looked super packed when we left but that could have been the holiday.
I deducted some stars because the club house is a little run down on the inside and desperately needs a renovation. That said, what really made the experience and what separates Cary from other courses in the area are the elevation changes. I've never seen so many elevated tee boxes on a golf course in Illinois. The yardage is on the shorter side but the small sloping greens are challenging. Overall, we had a blast and will definitely come back.
