Da Heights
Good course for a quick 9 holes. 2 legit par 5s and 2 solid par 3s make it a nice afternoon 9 course. The staff could be a lot friendlier but I don’t golf to make friends with the staff so I can deal with it. I would definitely play there again
Price could be better.
When I come to Chicago Heights East and West sometimes I’m not sure if I’m going to want to play 9 or 18. The “go around” price has gotten a bit steep for 18 since it’s not 18 unique holes. I really felt like they overcharge to an extent but I digress. The layout of this one has a few quirks but in a good one and it’s good course that’s makes you use some skills. My first time breaking 100 was here so I will always remember that. I do prefer Heights East but really like West too.
Hidden Gem
Very nice course. You can actually play out of the sand unlike most courses around here. Groomed nicely! Very nice staff. It's a hidden gem!
Value for the money.
The course is well maintained and with the discount is an exceptional value.
Ex regular
Used to go here all the time (2 to 3 times a week), but I will not come here again. Staff is very unfriendly and rude. I have said multiple times this is the last time I'll go there but this time is legit. We have had multiple incidents of the course being sexist. My wife and I came in (i paid, me being male) and the desk guy went on a rant about how women expect everything to be paid for by the male and they don't deserve equal pay, and women just can't take jokes like men do and was legitimate going on a 10 minute rant about this and my wife was so angry she left in tears. I've also had multiple issued with booking through golf now saying it wasn't book properly. Then when it was booked properly they are saying they don't honor their standard 9 hole replay fee for $10. But they also don't let you book 18 holes on the app even though the scorecard is for 18 holes and have separate tees for your 2nd time around. They also won't let you pay for a cart if you booked a walking tee time (because they messed up and didnt have that option) even though they are allowing carts and have 15 carts available. Every single time I've been there recently has been an absolute nightmare of incompetence because of their staff. It's a shame, and its no wonder why the course is always empty.
