Great character
This course has great character with water, trees, elevation, mounds, and bunkers. Challenging but very enjoyable. If you play take a moment and soak in holes 10-11. Very beautiful with the pond in the middle. I would recommend this course to anyone.
WAY ABOVE STANDARD!!!
Wanted to play a different course, so I looked up Top 10 golf courses in Ind. Harrison Hills was #7. So I booked a tt on GolfNow got a smoking deal @$29. Let me just say it would have been a deal @$59.
Fairways are bent grass and NICE! greens are solid and speed was perfect.
Anyone looking for a VERY NICE course your search is over, try Harrison Hills you will be completely satisfied.
well manincured and pristine
nice course despite inclement weather. multiple elevated greens and overall a good layout. saw one deer on back nine. was fortunate to play in a light drizzle. important to keep ball under the holes on these greens. had not played course in 10-15 years and hopefully be back in a much shorter period of time.
Harrison hills 10/17/14
Great layout. However very challenging course. More for the 10 to scratch handicapper. Got a golf now prove of $15/player. Worth the money vs normally a $50 round course
Great course!!
This is a very nice course. Some tough holes and some very challenging. Would play it again in an instant!
One of Indiana's Finest
Hadn't played this course in 15+ years. Such a beautiful course. It was in great shape. My wife, and I really enjoyed our day.
fun day
Course challenging but fun. Great shape and imagine fall would be really pretty. Lot's of trees. Would play again. Not flat so need to be able to do some walking.
the golf course was in great shape, from tee box to green.
Course was in great shape, very green and well mowed. Greens very challenging.
No 19 hole beer.
It was very good course to play for the first time.
I found the course to be interesting with the two nines very different, one open and one with a hilly terrain. The course was in great shape. Bunkers could be improved but the greens were great and smooth. I hope to return this fall.
Exceeded Expectations
First time playing this course. On par with the best courses Indiana has to offer. Greens and fairways were in excellent shape. Plenty of length. Good shots are rewarded. First cut of rough is fair. Outside that cut, you will suffer the consequences. The gorse type grass will eat wayward shots. Bring plenty of balls if you struggle to keep it in the fairway or first cut. I enjoyed the length of this course. True par 5's. My only criticism is the par 3 layouts. 3 of the 4 are nearly identical in distance at around 180-190. One comes in at 140. I don't mind a long par 3 but a test of other clubs would be welcome.
Great Course
Played on 8/9 and was paired with another single. The course layout is fantastic, the original holes are nothing short of excellent. The new addition is good and compliments the original, just a lack of elevation change. Conditions were good and the greens a little slower than expected. The only complaint was we ran into a five some on the third hole and were backed up the whole day. Assuming they were locals as they had five individual personal carts and backed everyone else up I would expect maangement to be more proactive. I would reccomend the course as a great value and worth the drive.
Great Value and Challenging Layout
We played Harrison Hills on a Monday and had a great time. I hadn't played it for several years but will try to get back later this year. We played the course from the tips and it was still an enjoyable day. From the tips its long enough to be challenging but doesn't "beat you up". The whole course was in excellent shape. The fairways were smooth and soft. The greens are huge with a lot of rolls and movement. They would hold all types of shots and putted great. The rough was long enough you could find your ball but you needed to make clean contact with it too. The sand traps had been worked and were in good shape too. Make the trip to Attica and enjoy a good time at Harrison Hills.
Love the course but....
We were told to get off the course due to rain...rain check should have been for 18 not 9.....disappointed...
Harrison hills
Good course that plays easy with accurate tee shots. Course is groomed well. Plays about 6800 from tips and has water hazards and is well bunkered. Wind on the front nine can pose a challenge with it's open links layout. The back nine provides scoring with easy scoring holes.
This course was in excellent shape
This was my first time playing Harrison Hills in over 15 years. The course was in beautiful shape. My wife and I played in just under 4 hours, which I thought was pretty good for midday on a Saturday. The course has a great combination of water, sand, rolling fairways. I'm looking forward to playing here again.
An Absolute Must Play!!!
This course was amazing in every way! Everything about this course was perfect except my game. I can not say enough good things about this course. If you were to hook or slice on this course your ball was gone in the tall shire grass with the Hobbits. The greens were very fast, elevated on most holes, and typically protected by bunkers or shire grass on three sides. The fairways were in perfect condition and looked hardly played on. The hole layouts were easy to follow with lots of elevation changes and rolling fairways. Upon arriving the staff, especially the Golf Pro, made me feel welcomed, showed me where to go, and made some recommendations to me about the course. There were some flying gnats that kept bothering me but I'll resolve that issue the next time I'm there with some bug spray. The only thing that I don't like about this course is that it is not closer to were I live. Now I'm gonna be driving an hour there and an hour back quite often because I will be playing this one as often as I can. I absolutely loved this course!!!
