Players in front of us, very, very slow. Wish we had a starter, they got off late and spent way too much time on each hole.

Hard surfaced angled greens
The course was dry, many of the greens which are angled become fat and little harder to achieve PAR.

Try to hit them straight
The course has the right name (Tuckaway) a hidden gem of a course. Being a beginner this is a challenging course with a few uphill and downhill holes to play. I did well the first 13 without losing a ball and made some good shots along the way. I will play this course again and again

cart path
Though the course has been greatly improved, there is still a little more that can be improved. The cart path has a deep trench across it on a couple of holes that are getting deeper after every rain, and are hard on the riders back.

Greens
Love Tuckaway Golf course, always play different. The greens were more forgiving. still challenging.

This course is fun to play.
It has short, long and tricky layout. It has something for everyone to enjoy for a low price. If all that fails you than stop by friendly bar and share your experience. Believe me you are not the only one. ENJOY!!

Nice course far away from Chicago
We had a nice time visiting this course. The Pros - it is a very well maintained, groomed course with some cool holes. It is pretty open and forgiving. The Cons is that it is very far from downtown Chicago and our Pace of Play was awful, absolutely awful. We played 5.5 hours for 3 people for a 8:50a Sunday tee time. We never saw a ranger. I wish the pace of play was better, but other than that I liked it.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course.
