Nice Course and Challenging to Play
Tuckaway looks like a relatively easy course until you realize the greens are very firm and sloped to approach shots quite strategic. You’ll find this out on the very first hole. There are plenty of birdie opportunities at Tuckaway provided you hit and hold greens in regulation. Not much water to worry about but the rough was quite thick today. Fairways and greens were nicely mowed although the greens rolled pretty slow (made a 9 stempmeter). It’s a fun course to play, friendly helpful staff and offers an average to above average golfer many good opportunity to score par or better. Give Tuckaway a try .,, you’ll enjoy it.

Great Round on a Saturday Morning
Course is in pretty good condition compared to other area courses. The course maintenance was excellent. Great pace of play for a Saturday morning. Great food and beverage options.

Slow today
I play here fairly often. Today I got stuck behind an outing. It was SO slow. I wound up playing the front twice. They should have a way of letting you know there is an outing ahead of you so you can plan accordingly.

Nice course for the money!
Considering that they got 4.25 inches of rain the last couple of days the course was in excellent condition. Other than the bunkers, very few spots with standing water.
Greens are small and most crowned so tough to hit but fair. A lot of undulation to the fairways and a few blind shots but for the most part were very fair. Course was in excellent condition (Tees, fairways and greens) - hats off to the course maintenance team!

Plan to return
This was my 1st visit to this course. I really liked playing here and plan to return. So happy to find great golf close to my home. Course is in great condition. Most, if not all, holes have small elevated greens. If you can chip accurately you will be in good shape to score low.

Great course for the price
Tuckaway is a great course for the average golfer! With challenging holes but nothing over the top. Greens are in great shape. The price is great! Don't have to break the bank to get in 18! They also offer a discount for veterans! Not necessary but, a nice way to say thanks for those of us that have served!

Good pace of play. Course was firm but not too bad. Greens were in really good shape.

Always a pleasure
This is not the longest or the most challenging course in the area. But it is my favorite, new business and course management have definitely turned this place around.
It’s in great condition. reasonable pace of play , very friendly staff and resident “members”

Improved greens
Tuckaway has improved in the past year. The greens and fairways are vastly improved. Well worth the trip and the cost. Pace of play was great. Finished my round in three hours.
