South at Hickory Hills Country Club

A Classic Midwest track with old growth trees that keep you concentrated. Great amenities with a halfway house you see a few times per round. Fairways and greens in great shape the tee boxes are fair for this late in the season. We will be back!

My buddies and I stopped playing here about 3 years ago because the place had deteriorated so much. The greens were too long, the fairways were mostly clover, tees were bald….We had no intention of going back, but i read the reviews on golf now about a month ago expecting people to say what a mess it was and it was the opposite. So we thought we’d give it a go, not expecting much, but the reviews were right, the owners have spent money here and it’s hugely improved. There are still parts that need more work but there are people out there actively doing more work; we’ll be going back regularly now.

This course needs work. Not fun, and didn't enjoy my time. Staff was very slow and poor service. Carts were filthy and littered with trash and spilt alcohol. Bees all over. Took 10+ mins to get checked in. Some very rough patches along the entire course. Only go here if you're desperate to get some golf in because this is a sorry course all together. Choose somewhere else for a better experience.

The grass is beautiful and the holes are relatively straightforward. Several short par 3s. Be aware, the course is quite compact to fit in the space.

Course was in bad shape last few years. Played yesterday and it was in great condition......especially the greens!! great work on fixing up this good old course.

This could be a championship course, if they had more money. A water hazard or two and better tending of the greens would put it over the top. It was a beautiful day, so we had a blast, but the unfixed ball marks on the greens were irritating

Over the years the couse has been pretty beaten up but the last 2 years it has really been nice. Good job with the up keep. The staff from the front desk to the maintenance workers are friendly and engaging.

Superintendent needs a gold medal. This place is in incredible condition. Thanks for all the hard work. Maybe you can open a kitchen for relaxing afterwards.

Much improved greens Major improvements have been done A 200% improvement from what it was like a few years ago. Keep improving and you will get a lot of Glen eagles business

This course was garbage 3 years ago. They have clearly spent money to better the conditions of the tee boxes and greens. The fairway and first cut could be cut lower or more frequently but the course is challenging for beginners and GIR golfers

I don’t know what ownership spent to rejuvenate Hickory Hills CC, but it was worth it. Congrats on a great job. Greens outstanding, fairways good and look to soon be even better, tee box solid.
