Nice course. Almost all greens built on a hill. Had a couple of 4 putts. Normal putting for 18 is usually 34 or under. Had 42 today. Their not super fast but if you miss could roll down hill 20 yards. Tee boxes and fairways very nice. No sand traps but still challenging. Only issue I had was range was a drive from club house and mates only.

Delayed 30 minutes from our tee time due to no carts available. Also, having tee times every 7 minutes took us 5 hours to complete 18 holes because it was so backed up. Inquired about a rain check and they refused. Never coming back.

Range doesn’t open til 10….greens are comical with slopes at times the fairway is left to grow at least an inch and a half in height….no cart girl….tee times aren’t staggered enough to allow for proper pace of play. Course design is from 1917 and you’ll find yourself in the weirdest scenarios (everything is incredibly tight ..I.e tee boxes to green location and cart paths to greens and fences etc.. This course is worth 30bucks if you can stand it.

This course was in great shape all summer, so many people have just learned about the course so it's been a little backed up on the weekends besides that the course is in phenomenal shape. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a challenging hidden gem in Hickory Hills.

A Classic Midwest track with old growth trees that keep you concentrated. Great amenities with a halfway house you see a few times per round. Fairways and greens in great shape the tee boxes are fair for this late in the season. We will be back!

My buddies and I stopped playing here about 3 years ago because the place had deteriorated so much. The greens were too long, the fairways were mostly clover, tees were bald….We had no intention of going back, but i read the reviews on golf now about a month ago expecting people to say what a mess it was and it was the opposite. So we thought we’d give it a go, not expecting much, but the reviews were right, the owners have spent money here and it’s hugely improved. There are still parts that need more work but there are people out there actively doing more work; we’ll be going back regularly now.

This course needs work. Not fun, and didn't enjoy my time. Staff was very slow and poor service. Carts were filthy and littered with trash and spilt alcohol. Bees all over. Took 10+ mins to get checked in. Some very rough patches along the entire course. Only go here if you're desperate to get some golf in because this is a sorry course all together. Choose somewhere else for a better experience.

The grass is beautiful and the holes are relatively straightforward. Several short par 3s. Be aware, the course is quite compact to fit in the space.

Course was in bad shape last few years. Played yesterday and it was in great condition......especially the greens!! great work on fixing up this good old course.

This could be a championship course, if they had more money. A water hazard or two and better tending of the greens would put it over the top. It was a beautiful day, so we had a blast, but the unfixed ball marks on the greens were irritating
