Golfer Reviews
chong ho pak
There are mountains and hills that are hard to see in Illinois, so it was a very new and pleasant round.
Improved!
I have always enjoyed playing HH as it is so different when compared to most northern Illinois courses, but I really think the grounds crew has done an excellent job.
Solid course and great value
Course was in good condition and pace of play for a Saturday was good. Greens had more action than the slope would suggest. Great value.
Good course
It’s a good course. Layout is nice. For $50 a play though you’s think they would have a bar cart driving around with refreshments. Stocked up after 9 hole. Otherwise BYOB
Garbage
Staff was downright creepy with my girlfriend. Annoying starter made a point to touch her on three separate occasions. Greens were trash. Layout of the course was downright dangerous - we were often hitting into people driving. And to top it all off they didn’t sell hot dogs. How am I supposed to shoot straight without a glizzy at the turn? 0/10 will never return.
Overall improvement from the past years
I was shocked about the conditions of the course. In the past, it was horrible. Now it's worth it, challenging greens. Only downside no bunkers or water. Overall 4 stars
