About
Wolf Hollow Golf Club originally opened in 1928 as Lena Golf Club. The course tumbles across northwest Illinois' gently rolling hills, incorporating quite a few elevation changes into the layout. The golf course has a true risk-reward design that will thoroughly test your shot-making abilities. With proper course management and a bit of luck, there are several birdie opportunities to be had. Measuring in at just over 6,400 yards from the back tees, the course manages to give you a few lengthy holes but it will also put your short-game skills to the test. The 16th is one of Wolf Hollow Golf Club's most intimidating holes because this par 4 has trouble everywhere. A creek and tall grasses guard the left of the fairway and the small green requires a nearly perfect approach shot.

fun track
A good track that requires some shotmaking to open up greens.
loved the challenging holes
for the amount of rain recently the course was in very good shape. A few traps had water in them but didn't bother us. We loved it. And, we will be coming back. Food was good also with a bargain price!
Great course
We always enjoy playing at Wolf Hallow. It’s an hour plus drive for us but try to play it a couple of times a year. Course is in good shape and greens are fast and true. Never disappoints us. Will play it again.

Requires some thought. Several good risk reward holes.
An enjoyable outing
Played mid Friday morning in a threesome. Good pace. Foursome ahead of us encouraged us to play through on #10. Tee, fairway, & greens in very good shape. Gladly play there again.
Great day at Wolf Hollow
The course is in excellent shape. The greens are the equalizer for all golfers. The price is right and the staff is very friendly all the time. It doesn't matter who is working they are all very nice and helpful.
Great Value
Wolf Hollow is a hidden gem. The course is fun to play, in great shape, and the staff makes you feel welcome.
The only downfall is there are some dead spots on greens. Other than that awsome course. Will always play several rounds here

Hidden Gem
This place is well worth finding for many reasons. Staff were great. Course condition and layout were very good. Price was outstanding! Greens were very nice and rolled true. Very hilly with many uneven lies resulting in a great challenge. Gotta go to this place!

Wolf hollow, what can I say ,an absolute masterpiece,this is a great golf course for all skill levels,with tight doglegs and challenging holes,the biggest bonus,the scenery here is spectacular especially now with the fall colours coming in and the abundant wildlife that seems to be on the golf course every time we play.wanna experience a wow with your golf game, then play here.totally awesome,would recommend this course to everyone . a little out of the way,but worth the drive

Wolf Hollow
I like this course. Have played it several times and it is always fun. It has some very challenging holes but overall is fair. I like the diversity of holes with some long par 4's which is compensated for with some fairly easy ones. Definitely a course I recommend.
Nice Layout
This course used to be in excellent condition and I have played it numerous times over many years. This time it was in the poorest condition I have ever seen it. It appears to me that over the past year conditions have fallen below the standards the course has set in past years. I hope they go to work on it.
