About
Wolf Hollow Golf Club originally opened in 1928 as Lena Golf Club. The course tumbles across northwest Illinois' gently rolling hills, incorporating quite a few elevation changes into the layout. The golf course has a true risk-reward design that will thoroughly test your shot-making abilities. With proper course management and a bit of luck, there are several birdie opportunities to be had. Measuring in at just over 6,400 yards from the back tees, the course manages to give you a few lengthy holes but it will also put your short-game skills to the test. The 16th is one of Wolf Hollow Golf Club's most intimidating holes because this par 4 has trouble everywhere. A creek and tall grasses guard the left of the fairway and the small green requires a nearly perfect approach shot.

Beautiflul view
Everything was great except for the pace of play. No ranger in site and a bunch of twosomes were stuck behind a foursome that wouldn't let anyone play through. Other than that course was in great shape.
Slow Play
Usually love this course, but it was packed with an outing that killed our round. Wish we would have called first to see if there was any such thing going down on the day of our tee time. Lovely course in good condition, but we were unable to play the back nine due to the congestion of multiple 4-somes on tee 10 when we made the turn. Catch it on a quiet day, and it is a gem.
rough greens
the course its always fun to play but for God sales does anyone here repair divots? Greens were the worst I've played so far this year. Pace was very slow. we were a twosome and at the turn the foursome ahead of us you would have thought we shot their mom when they let us through. At least they did while none else did. probably won't be playing there anymore this year.
Wolf Hollow
I really like this course. It has a fair balance of difficult holes and the layout is interesting. A couple of the greens are experiencing some problems due to a possible fungus. Fairways were great and the rough fair. I am looking forward to playing again.

First time there and was quite surprised at how nice the course is. Very open with challenging greens. A very nice afternoon was had.

This is a beautiful and challenging course located 2 hours from Chicago. The course is always in wonderful condition. How great to play on a course that is not surrounded by a housing development! the staff is friendly and helpful. Beverages and food are tasty and priced to please the pocketbook
Super Experience on a Challenging Course
Just an incredible experience. This course will be the best course my wife and I will play on this summer. Has it all. I love hills and turns left or right up or down. And this course has it. Plus a great pace. Never felt pushed or slowed. Weather was great and price through a hot deal made it pretty incredible experience all round. This is a place I would have no trouble bringing my friends knowing that they will think it is quite different than other courses they might have played here in Illinois area.

First time playing this course, I love it. I'll play it again sometime in the near future.
BLT
Wolf Hollow is neat course and a great value under $20. I wouldn't pay full fare. The elevated tee boxes provide beautiful views of the rolling farm land. The blind shots are challenging, fair and fun. The course is open enough on many holes to spray it and still score but there's plenty of difficult holes as well that make it legit.
Bring bug spray! If the nets are swarming you'll need it or it will ruin your round.

Superb course for any golfer. Has challenging holes and greens can be tricky. Great layout with rolling hills and beautiful country setting. Staff very friendly and accommodating..

Love the course layout. From the back tees the distance is quite challenging. Several challenging par 3's that are plus 190 yards. Highly recommended the course.

My friends and I golf at least 20 different courses every year and this one is in my top 5 all time.
Great course for the price
We liked it so much we played it the next day as well. Greens were excellent. Very nice layout, some long tough par 4s especially on the front 9. Open enough to be playable, but enough places to get in trouble to make it interesting. The rough is thick.

Great course in what felt like the middle of nowhere. Very excellent layout and awesome conditions.
Destination Kohler - Champions' Trail Golf Package
Beautiful well maintained golf course. Priced way below what it could be.only suggestion is singles SB coupled for it slows the pay down.....
