About
Wolf Hollow Golf Club originally opened in 1928 as Lena Golf Club. The course tumbles across northwest Illinois' gently rolling hills, incorporating quite a few elevation changes into the layout. The golf course has a true risk-reward design that will thoroughly test your shot-making abilities. With proper course management and a bit of luck, there are several birdie opportunities to be had. Measuring in at just over 6,400 yards from the back tees, the course manages to give you a few lengthy holes but it will also put your short-game skills to the test. The 16th is one of Wolf Hollow Golf Club's most intimidating holes because this par 4 has trouble everywhere. A creek and tall grasses guard the left of the fairway and the small green requires a nearly perfect approach shot.

Greens in bad shape
Always love to come back to this course. Great layout and views. Good memories of previous rounds including my hole-in-one in 2010.
This time, the greens were in terrible shape. Very slow and mold and dead grass all around. Not sure what is happening here but it will be hard to get it back in shape.
Please do what you can to fix. I would like to keep this course on my list of favorites in the area.
A Gem of a Course
My husband and I frequently drive 50 minutes to play this course. It is lady-friendly but still challenging.
Enjoyable April golf
Staff is excellent, course in good shape for time of year. Enjoy playing the course
Challenging layout on several holes where shot placement is important for scoring well. Course is getable but errant shots are often punished with a lost ball and score can balloon in a hurry. Greens are almost always in good shape and play fair. Great value for the money.
Fun in the country
Play this course you'll love it, fairways greens and tee boxes excellent nature all around no city noises. Enjoy! AH!!!!!!?
Great course! Great staff!
Our group has been playing this course regularly for a few years now. Always impressed by its condition and Doral and his staff are the best anywhere. A true gem with a great layout and friendly folks all around. Have and do recommend Wolf Hollow to all who play and genuinely enjoy our 18 here (19th too!) and always look forward to our next round. Great place!!!
Worth a long drive to play
Hill course , generous fairway with not many bunker, good fast green but not Much undulating.. my record 6 par or better in a row.. only one three putt
