Wolf Hollow Golf Club originally opened in 1928 as Lena Golf Club. The course tumbles across northwest Illinois' gently rolling hills, incorporating quite a few elevation changes into the layout. The golf course has a true risk-reward design that will thoroughly test your shot-making abilities. With proper course management and a bit of luck, there are several birdie opportunities to be had. Measuring in at just over 6,400 yards from the back tees, the course manages to give you a few lengthy holes but it will also put your short-game skills to the test. The 16th is one of Wolf Hollow Golf Club's most intimidating holes because this par 4 has trouble everywhere. A creek and tall grasses guard the left of the fairway and the small green requires a nearly perfect approach shot.

Beautiful coarse
The rolling hills make you feel like you are out golfing by yourself! We even saw a deer!
Always a great course to play.
This is one of our favorite course in our area to play. This course is always in top shape. We arrived early and we were told we could get out 30 minutes early. Went to the tee box and a foursome at the tee told us to go ahead of them because we were a twosome. On holes eight another foursome let us play through. No one was ahead of them so we could play quickly without having to wait for anyone. We appreciated playing through. Will definitely book this course again. Highly recommended.

We had a great time! Course was in wonderful shape! Staff very friendly and helpful
Staff was unbelievably friendly, course was in great condition. People in front of us were slow but let us play through. For the price, absolutely can't beat this course. Plus the clubhouse had unreal price for their golf gear. If you're heading out west in IL you have to give this a shot
Early in the season
Even with the off and in weather in the area the course was so amazing and played as one of the best compared to some over priced ones I played already.
Played nine the first time.
The course is beautiful. The first time I played I only played nine holes. Today I played the whole eighteen. The course has a link feel but has soooooo many trees and OB. Well worth the money to play.
Great range, Great course
This is a great golf course. The layout is a little quirky but in a fun way. Elevation and blind shots make it a challenge, with lots a risk reward. If your a player go from the tips, the force carries really make it a fun driving course.
