Slow
Played this course 2 times. Both rounds were well over 3 hours for 9 holes. It’s a well kept 9 hole challenge for newer golfers to enjoy. I personally will never play there again due to the pace of play.
Horribly slow and backed up
The course books tee times too close together, resulting is delayed starts and backups on the course. Will not play there in the summer again.

Terrible Customer Service
Worst customer service ever. I tried to play 9 holes here on Saturday. After teeing off and finishing the first hole it started to rain. It rained hard enough that they closed the course and pulled everyone off. They refused to offer any kind of refund or rain check to play next time. After multiple calls to the manager and emails there still has been no communication from River Bend. Would give 0 stars but that's not an option.

Course was great, staff was great. Course got really backed up though, but it was ok.
Great 9 hole course
Great 9 hole course.
Nice layout.
Pre-Covid-19; they have a great restaurant with a fabulous burger and Reuben sandwich.
Challenging course
This is a standard 9 holes Par 36. It is good if you want to play a quick 9 holes. It is a good challenging course for a intermediate player and a good experience for a beginner. I like this course and got a good deal from teeoff.com
Way to long to play 9
3+ hours to play 9 holes is ridiculous. Part of the problem is that tee times are 8 minutes apart so by 9-9:30 the course is totally backed up. 25 minute delay to tee off and then 2.5 - 3 hours to play.
I’d only recommend playing here very early morning on weekends or during the early part of the day mon-thurs.

Great community owned executive course. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

Nice Track, Pleasant People
I booked River Bend a few days before the round because it looked like a solid nine-hole course. I had never played it, but one of my playing partners had many times.
The course was in good shape and Ron in the Pro Shop was very friendly. The layout is pretty neat, with lots of long grass and a few forced carry shots. It certainly isn't difficult if you can get the ball off the ground. The greens were fair and maintained well.
The course isn't marked well, so we got lost a few times trying to find the next hole. A can of spray paint would help, as some holes have paths on both sides that lead to different places.
It was a nice round for a group of casual players who just wanted to grab a quick nine early on a Saturday morning.
Best 9 Hole Course in Western Suburbs
For a 9 hole course, this course has a great layout with a few challenging hazards. This was my 1st time playing this course , but I will be back because this course can be played over and over, and still be fun. The staff is super nice, a drink cart comes around often and the pace of play as much quicker than any course in this area. The sand traps need a little maintenance, but totally understandable since we are in a pandemic.
