It's evident this course is not being maintained. Although the greens are being kept up, the fairways are in terrible shape. the bunkers have stones in them. Would not play here again.

For the cost of the round, the conditions of the entire course was terrible.

Got in 9 and left. Seems like the fairways didn't have a great year and they are done right now. Lost alot of balls after trying to hit from patchy grass (in the fairway) and couldn't find them in the fluffy rough. Greens were soft and great. Decent little fun round if you can get a hot deal but don't expect much other than hitting off normal park grass untill you get to the greens.

Big run is a great layout. The condition of the course is average. Fairways were rough and the sand was really shallow. Greens were pretty good. Really tough course.

This course is worse than hitting out of my backyard. Very poorly maintained. Very tight fairways. The rough is terrible and the fairway is like hitting out of fresh cut grass at home; it’s not short fairway grass, it’s long, weedy, and full of dead spots. I would not play here even if it was free. For those who watch Bob Does Sports, this was like the Links of Victoria.

The course just was not in good shape, considering all of weeds. A lot of the teeboxes looked like a combat battle had just finished. Several holes were rough only for carts. At issue, was tell the difference between the fairway and rough. No Marshall's monitoring and no refreshment person. Too bad, it is a great layout.

It really hurts for.me to have to give such a bad review of a course that I have played at over the last 40 years, but this once wonderful course is in shambles. There aren't enough adjectives to describe the horrendous conditions. Dozens of dead trees, dead grass on the tee boxes, dead spots on many greens, weeds everywhere, ponds are disgusting, cart paths are too rough to drive on, most of the bridges are falling apart and seem unsafe, Long Run creek running thru the course needs a good clean out, most of the "sand'" traps are dirt/gravel/clay, fairways have dead spots, the landscaping is neglected or non-existant, golf carts run but are old and dilapidated (need GPS, too). No cart beverage service even on Sunday, used to have vending machines in the shelters along the way but those are gone as well. This course was once beautiful, but unless there is a MAJOR effort and lots of money spent to rejuvenate it, I'm afraid it will cease to draw any golfers.
