About
Old Oak Country Club is situated only 20 minutes from Chicago, but the beautifully wooded terrain shaded by mature oaks and hickory trees, makes it feel as though it's much further away. Originally opened in 1926, the golf course is one of the area's oldest and even one of the oldest in the state. It has undergone many renovations over the years but it still retains its classic character. The layout offers plenty of variety with drivable par 4s and lengthy par 5s. The rolling topography provides many of the golf course's challenges, from the rolling fairways and undulating greens to the elevated tees and blind shots. Mature trees tower over the fairways, adding another tricky element to the golf course. Old Oak Country Club is challenging but fair and still quite playable, which is why it has long been a local favorite.

I already paid for my ttime at Teeoff then when you get to the pro shop they still ask for a $5.00 deposit for the cart. The thing is if you are barely able to finish your round because it gets dark suddenly you don’t remember to get your $5.00 deposit back and you end up paying more for your round. They’re the only course changing for cart deposit I guess one way of making money. That’s just stupid. When you book a ttime with cart the course shouldn’t have asked for a deposit. Shameful
Good Day to Golf
Course was in very good shape - Greens were pretty good.
No issues
Great public track.
Great track and some good looking holes. No complaints. Golf carts are newer quiet gas engine. I liked driving them.
Old Oak CC
Old Oak country club is in excellent condition. I enjoyed playing every hole. Everyone was very friendly and the pace of play was phenomenal. I would certainly recommend getting out to play this course… It’s a diamond in the rough!
